"I slept in a coffin?!"

There's all sorts of evidence about Abby and McGee having a relationship. The one particular instance that stick out in my mind is McGee finding out that he'd slept in a coffin one night - which obviously meant he'd been with Abby. I can't remember the title of the episode, or the exact quote, though.

I believe that episode is Reveille, 1x23. Gibbs goes crazy about the crazy terrorist he didn't catch in Bete Noire. I haven't seen it, though I want to. I think the quote is Gibbs: This you can do? McGee: Yeah, I'll need a couple of hours to put on you hard drive. Gibbs: Alright, you'll need a hall pass. I'll call Norfolk. Gibbs (to Abby): He stayed at your place? Abby: Yep! Gibbs: You sleep in a coffin, McGee? [Gibbs leaves, via elevator] McGee, turning to Abby: Coffin? You told me it was a box-sofa-bed! Abby: It is! Sort of. There was also the time - i think in Boxed In - that Ducky was saying how the dead guy's teeth were in bad shape, and McGee chimed in that he used to grind his teeth in his sleep when he was a kid, and had to wear a special retainer for it, and Abby was like you still should. Which shows that they have spent night(s) together.

Yes, I do believe there were few occassions when it was suggested they had spent 'time' together. Don't feel it is an on going thing though, although I think we could make a nice couple.

I agree. They are so cute together. I like that she loves him for who he is, just as he is :) I still haven't seen the episode where this conversation happens. I'm not sure how I've missed it... 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

I don't know about that. In Shalom Abby makes a comment about eating for two and McGee gets scared. Abby calms him down saying that she was just talking about eating for herself and Agent Lee who was a health nut. And again in the fifth season, I can't remember the name of the episode but McGee's boy scouth troop comes in and they think one of the boys has been kidnapped and Abby makes a comment about being with child and McGee gets that same scared look on his face. LOL.Although I do have to say my favorite Mcabby moment is when the team is talking about a man who woke up next to a dead body but swears that it isn't the same woman they went to bed with and Abby makes a comment about how that happens to girls too, go to bed with a great guy and when you wake up their tattoos are fake and they work at a bank. And then McGee chimes in that he used to work at a bank and Abby says, "yea but your tatt's real and you don't disappoint me." LOL. It's right up there with Abby telling McGee she loves him. I don't think Abby and McGee have had an exclusive relationship, but maybe friends with benefits? They've both said "I love you" to the other (McGee pretty much did in Cover Story) and I think there is definately evidence that they've at least been sleeping together on and off. Plus with the May 5th episode development maybe they'll get over it and finally get together! yay! 4 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |
