Gibbs mother

So I've got an interesting question for anyone who would really have to know the show. Do we have any idea how old Gibbs was when his mother died? I watched Heartland recently and got thinking about it and in the episode it said nothing about it. If you do know which episode. I'm curious to see it and how I missed it if I did.

"The only hint we have is that Gibbs told his mother (actually her gost) in the diner in "life before his eyes" that she looked just like when she left (meaning died everyone assumes). The actress who played his mother (Clare Carey who is 44 - aka Kelly Fox on "Coach" ) looked to be at around 40 or at least late 30's so I think she died not to much before Gibbs went to the Marines- Maybe 5 years before .
