A bitter pill soon to swallow?

It does seem, from what we witnessed in the season finale, that somebody died. Obviously this is something none of us want to see, but may soon have to come to accept. Losing at least one member of the current team, possibly even two! It did seem to me that they were trying people out last season with an eye on them replacing those who may have perished, or at the very least to have them make increasingly regular appearances next . A "pool" of new faces if you like. Chief among them being Ned of course. But there were others, who we might be seeing a lot more of next season. These would have to include Stan Burley, who they chose not to kill off when maybe they otherwise would have. The Asian analyst briefly seen in one episode. They're long overdue introducing another Asian character into the show (Anyone who knows me of old will know how strongly I still feel about the last one!!). She could fill in any gap left when JLC choses to leave. Something an awful lot of you would just LOVE to see happen! What a lot of you will HATE to see happen is E.J Barrett as a permanent fixture! But wouldn't it make sense to do that? A strong female character already with a well established history with the team. P.S. All of the above does NOT mean I want anyone to die!.... but..... 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

Gary Glasberg has already said in an interview that he feels all of the cast will be renewing their contracts. I don't think just because 'new faces' haven't been killed off that they were introduced to replace a team member.

Ahh - yes - I can see that - but strong (?) might she not be too strong - I found her slightly aggressive - "my Case" - not sharing info - just a tad of a bossy-boots Do you find this valuable? |

There has never been any talk of EJ being permanent, and it won't happen. I doubt that Sam Ryan will be permanent either. There are no plans that have been hinted at about making anyone permanent. Re-curring like Borin perhaps.

I don't think any of us can affirm one way or another as to a character becoming permanent. CdP's character was initially for a short period likewise Lauren Holly's and they ended up becoming regulars. So who knows, besides which it's never a good idea to cross a bridge before you come to it. 3 out of 3 found this valuable.
