A positive a JLC thread at member's behest

Here's her Posting: Find this lady a good place to perch and she is fine - I have seen "The Tell" recently and I am lost to understand why people speak so negatively of her. In my not particularly humble opinion she has the looks and talent of two great actors in combination and in her case I believe it to be true that she exemplifies the idea of the WHOLE being of greater value than the summary of its parts. She is restrained - in her portrayal of a Doctor and a Psychiatrist at that ! Such people are supposed to be more controlled in their emotions, or they are no use to their patients. I do not feel right now - dismissing her restrained portrayal as wooden maybe she has had parts given to her where she has not been effective, but I feel that I have to make the effort here and now - to redress the balance. This - after I have seen "The Tell" - she is closer to Gibbs in age - she is gentle and FUN too but in a more mature way - who is to say that in maturity there is no place for love. Defense Rests (I watch Shark too) by patriciaenola 3 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

Good idea. It seems a lot of the characters that come into NCIS are viewed with negativity for all the wrong reasons. I didn't mind Sam Ryan. I think Gibbs had some good moments with her. And like Gibbs she is a complex person. Jamie Lee Curtis herself said I quote:" Its probably the worst pairing and the best pairing..what to eat, sex any choice they make as a couple, is going to be approached from completely different points of view, so often they will get a little testy with one another."The characters are meant to be the way they are, and are being played the way Jamie Lee and the writers want the character to be played, and are very happy happy with it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmU3ef-_k_U 0 out of 2 found this valuable.
