They love to show us everyone worrying about stoic, injured Ziva in the episodes that they know will be widely viewed. They also love to give us poor pitied Ziva dealing with mean old Eli. As usual the main story will be about hero Gibbs and secondary story will feature and be flattering to Ziva. That's my guess based on the last five years. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

He may have done a lot of things to hurt Ziva, because I think he might truly have a hard time showing he cares and may not know how to keep his work life from family life. I know fathers like that all business, especially when they are separted from their children. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Not only a worried father - he may have difficulty showing love - but he called her "MY Ziva" when they last spoke - any man can father children but it takes someone special to be a DAD - especially if he does not know how to share his love.I am really glad that Tobias will be in this episode - even if all he does - is to aggravate Gibbs by finding information before Gibbs does. I think there is a place for Eli - he is on good terms with Leon and there has been no speculation on Leon's part in this - does anyone know anything further - or is this purely speculation 1 out of 1 found this valuable. "As a matter of fact Jethro - while you were otherwise engaged - picking yourself out of the rubble - MY Team etc etc etc - I can just picture it - but most of all - I am concerned with how the PTB get the stars to portray their PTSD - I have ideas Do you find this valuable? |

Just because of family conflict doesn't mean Eli wouldn't want to know whats happening with Ziva. Perhaps he comes to his senses and realizes her worth as a daughter. I am hoping that DiNozzo senior at least calls Tony. It would be a good time for Tim's dad to ring as well.

I kind of got the impression that Eli sees Ziva more as a possession, not as a daughter. And from his behavior when Ziva quit Mossad to join NCIS, he seems to have an if I can't have her, nobody can attitude. So I doubt his involvement would have anything to do with fatherly feelings for Ziva. Besides, there are pictures posted on one of the other NCIS forums from the season premier and neither Ziva nor Tony look very injured (of course, the pictures could be from the second half of the episode, which is supposed to be several months later). Unfortunately, it looks like GG is trying to put too much in an episode again!

That being said it looks like these pics are after the explosion. Gibbs has a red spot (blood?) on his forehead in one pic, and Tony looks like he has a bump on his head in another. Debris and Ambulances in the background, so fairly sure it is the bomb scene. That being said it looks like Gibbs, Abby, Tony and Ziva escaped with only minor injuries. No sign of McGee, Palmer or Ducky yet though. I agree that GG may be putting too much into this episode, they do have 4 months to catch up to real time. Maybe should have been a 2-parter. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

The other two everyone looks clean in and Gibbs has a different jacket on. With the construction workers and wheelbarrows in the background, I would have to say they are sometime later after reconstruction of the NCIS building. Do you find this valuable? |
