""First of all if they use the phrase "I wasn't /you weren;t hugged enough as a child/" referring to criminals - I am going to scream"I don't believe this person was referring to just Cole saying it - that line has been used almost as many times as Ziva asking Tony if he's jealous - and it's a stale, overused line. I guess it just depends on where you stand when it comes to the Tony/Ziva thing. Personally, I do feel that some comments made are mean spirited - but to each his own. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. "IMcGee is actually the one that I am worried about. He seemed to have taken the biggest hit of them all. I really hope they don't write McGee off - he is definitely not the character I would have chose to write off if I had to write one of them off.Pardon the post edit ww49..Indeed on McGee. The notiion of the moment for me too was that he was running toward the windows at the moment of the blast. You have to chuckle sometimes at how a tv character is presented: to wit, the Gray Kryptonite is Leroy-on-the-spot a few years back in TorC, and last night suddenly sprints around the corner into Abby's lab to save the day. Is that man fast, or what? BTW: I think Abby will be okay if PP decides to stay; Bert broke her fall with possibly the loudest fart of all. 8 out of 8 found this valuable. Do you? |

"I think you misinterpreted some of my comments which are simply my personal opinion so I don't expect everyone to feel the exact same way or agree. Re:my hugging comment, I knew cole was being sarcastic - my pt was in regard to writers reusing same line in various episodes when in fact that line was first used almost ver batim in an old CSI NY epi. "- It has been reused by several shows in a sarcastic manner because it is an old therapy cliche - someone turns bad because they were not hugged enough as a child. "Ok, mostly likely Cole died untless he escaped before the bomb went off. Gibbs, was iwith Abby so was probabbly her sheild. Tony and Ziva were in the elevator, McGee was leaving the bullpen, Ducky was collapsed on the beach may be a heart attack or stroke and Jimmy & Breena were eloping heading on back to D.C. Vance, I think left just before McGee.and I teally want everyne to come back. "How about this....maybe the reason Ducky was on the beach with his tux jacket off is that the Palmer wedding had already happened much earlier as they changed their plans and Timmy boy had went back to work and Ducky was walking the beach until time for his return flight...that could put Ducky out of commission due to heart attack for a while and having Palmer back at NCIS autopsy and getting blown up....they would try to keep the news from Ducky afraid of another heart attack...could milk this for 2-3 episodes...or maybe Ducky rises from his hospital bed to go to Palmer's burial? I have a new theory.None of the main characters were 'killed' in the explosion. Hurt maybe, even severely (needing hospitalization), but not killed. But, someone misidentified some other dead person (unknown NCIS personnel) as a main character and declared them dead. They tell this to Ducky, and he has a heart attack. But that someone main character walks alive and turns up after the call. So, Ducky is the only one whose life hangs out there....but I would be seriously disappointed if they write his character out... 8 out of 10 found this valuable. Do you? |

My opinion:FLORIDA: Ducky was waiting for Jimmy. The hug that Jimmy gave Ducky earlier showed me that Jimmy would NOT go anywhere without his friend and mentor. Ducky was walking on the beach waiting for Jimmy and Breena to get ready. Keep in mind Ducky referred to Jimmy as a "loved one" while in autopsy and Jimmy referred to all in NCIS as his family. Big Kudos to DM for his heart attack portrayal. I had goosebumps until the first break from NCIS: LA! Palmer - he is safe. I doubt he was back in DC already and as noted above, he would not leave Ducky behind - elope or not. Shipyard. Tim probably got the worst of the explosion as everyone has said - though he may have gotten the concussion blast more than the explosion which is why he was thrown so far back with shards of glass flying towards him - as for why he was backing up the files, possibly because the backup servers were in the building and he was not sure how bad the explosion would be so he knew better and grabbed it on to a stick. Ziva and Tony - during an evac they should know better not to use the elevator especially when there is an impending explosion. If the elevator breaks on the 2-3 story building, there are fail-safes that should prevent it from falling. Abby and Gibbs - closest to the explosion at the lab. Unless they got to the interior room in the lab, they could be in for some pain as they would have felt most of the explosion - heat and concussion burst under the lab as the force would push directly under the weight of the van as well. Vance - surprisingly no security detail on him to ensure that the DIRECTOR was out safe. After telling Tim to get out he was never seen again. 5 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |

What an amazing experience this year has been. Terrific stories from the best writing staff I could ever ask for. Hands down, this is the most talented cast I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Mark, Michael, Cote, Sean, Pauley, David, Rocky and Brian are, simply put, inspiring. And, don’t forget the greatest crew in television. 210 episodes into the series and NCIS is showing no signs of slowing down. Season Nine was chock full of surprises. Continued...We know how important the NCIS family is to you. Yes, we literally just shook the foundation of NCIS. But Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs would be the first to say, “Nobody touches my family.” Harper Dearing is still out there. Can you imagine what’s in store for him come September? I can…and I’m loving it. Tony Wharmby directed this episode masterfully. Greg Gontz edited it like a surgeon. As guest stars, Scott Wolf, Jamie Lee Curtis and Richard Schiff brought nuance to the script in ways I never imagined. People are bringing their “A” game to the ninth season of a television show. How extraordinary is that? Will we be biting our nails all summer in anticipation? I’m afraid so. But revel in it. Laugh at it. Have fun with the possibilities. Get excited about the year that lies ahead. It’s time for all of us to take a few days off and enjoy our families. We wish you all a terrific summer filled with gorgeous sunsets, delicious barbeques, and long poolside naps. Ducky’s last words before the heart attack were, “ It’s imperative that no one touch any of the deceased…” See you in the fall when, I promise, you’ll get all the answers you’re looking for. Now I am worried about McGee. When he flew back glass was coming at him from the window. Also, for some reason him downloading all that stuff about Dearing is going to be important or they wouldn't have done it. He is going to be dead or seriously injured. That information might be looked at by Abby who is out for revenge with McGee dead or injured. She would figure something out. Or they have to wait for McGee to wake up...

WOW! What a season finale! I am a bit new to the NCIS show. My macho manly brother turned me on to the show saying it's the only tv he watches besides NCRA races. So I went out and bought all 8 seasons of NCIS and watched all 8 seasons in order to bring me up to speed on EVERYTHING. Talk about a crash course...But what that did was make it easy for me to see the connecting threads of story line and see the consistency of character and behavior between and within the characters. Because of this, I am convinced that Gibbs knows EXACTLY what is going on with Dr. Ryan and her son and Ex. (Gibbs doesn't miss anything) Dr. Ryan and her so called son and Ex are not what they appear. I think that all of the team members are ok, hurt yes but not dead. Ducky is in trouble with a H. A. or Stroke and will be recovering for awhile but he did such a good job training and mentoring Jimmy that the deceased will be handled properly and professionally by him. As for Vance...Even though Gibbs has made it clear that he doesn't want the job of Director, he sure does a good job when Vance is out of the office. It's logical that the position would fall to Gibbs if Vance is removed: he's the senior agent and the one with the most all around experience. As for Gibbs and Ryan in a serious relationship? It appears to me that Dr. Ryan isn't Gibb's type. Col. Mann was a much better match. As for the general direction of the show and it's characters...I hope the writers and actors stir the show towards a natural and logical direction where people are promoted as they should be, people retire and move on as they do, and people have health and family issues that influence their daily decisions. I have not been this involved and HOOKED with a TV show since Magnum, nor enamored with a character and actor like Harmon since Selleck. I am hoping that NCIS continues for 9 more seasons or more. 9 out of 9 found this valuable. Do you? |
