Contract Question...
May 8 2012, 9:18 PM EDT
They make it sound like someone is going to die at the end of this season so I want to know which cast members contracts end at the end of this season. I know McCallum and Harmon are fine but what about Weatherly, Murray, De Pablo, Perrette, Dietzen (Jimmy has been a central character this season so I would worry about him), and Carrol?

Unfortunately I won't be able to ask on the CBS Yahoo list as it has been requested not to discuss contracts on the list. Which I can understand. Do you find this valuable? |

Gary Glasbery seemed confident they would all sign up again, but there was no mention of Rocky Carroll.

I think they have until end of April or May, so there is time yet.

"I think they have until end of April or May, so there is time yet."I can't see them not re-signing CDP because that would be the same as not having Mark Harmon on there...the show would be done. While I've grown to like "The Toothpick" (aka Leon Vance), it makes me wonder with the death of his wife this season if they weren't planning on him retiring from NCIS to focus more on raising his two kids. IRL - the typical length of service for an NCIS director seems to be about 4-5 years. On the show, Morrow was at least 3 years, Jenny was 3, and Vance is in his 5th year. Do you find this valuable? |

"From RC's two recent interviews (Huffington Post + KTLA) I get the impression he will also be in the series in S11"That's good to know. As soon as the two-part episode aired where Jackie and Eli David were killed, I was looking to see if the writers were using that to pave the way for Vance's departure from NCIS, but he's grown on me. Him and Gibbs still butt heads, but since the start of Season 7, there's been a mutual respect that the writers have put in to the scripts that make him valuable to the show. 1 out of 1 found this valuable.
