Watched the episode again in leisure just now. Good one, kept up pace building to SF. Good moments - 1) The whole team was there. Heck, everyone in the NCIS building was probably there in the last scene... 2) McGee's seasick scene was done nicely.. :) just enough humor, and 'hey, take care' lines. 'Apples and crackers...' 3) Ducky and Gibbs talk over tea dust - a special moment of their good friendship and mutual respect. And I just noticed, Ducky is not suddenly making a will. He is just re-doing it because he came into some big money. Glad to know it doesn't imply anything dooming. 4) This time Tony got a new name 'Di Nosy'...usually, he does it to others...funny moment 5) Abby was wearing color! Yellow t-shirt! 6) The Italy trip was kept precise and to the point. Good. 7) Tony getting seasick, Ziva getting lost in the 9 places getting food - nice, without overdoing it. 8) Loved the webcam interrogation. Wow, Gibbs managed to look threatening even in the video conf! 9) Harper Dearing's photo replaced OBL's slot in the wanted list, with a punch. Doubts - 1) I saw a few posts which didn't like the angle of yet another SF villain being obsessed with Gibbs. Did I miss something? Gibbs was cleaning his gun, and he is taking it seriously. I don't think the villain is looking at Gibbs any which way so far...we'll know more in the coming 2 episodes maybe... 2) Abby says the shredder shreds vertically and horizontally into tiny bits. Yet in the salvaged piece, she was holding up a strip almost 3-4 inches long. I am probably overanalysing it... 3) Dorado's offices....how can a President of the company not know even how to contact their CEO for one whole year, without bringing it to attention of police? Overall, good episode. Stuck to the main plot, and paced ok. Missed Jimmy and Vance. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

"'Apples and crackers...;"Apples and crackers help relieve seasickness - ginger ale is good too - but the best thing to do is go out on the weather decks, breath fresh air - and make sure you're on the leeward side! (so if you barf, it doesn't blow back on you) 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Ziva shouldn't have got lost on the ship - naval vessels have standardized compartment numbering system - a smart woman like Ziva should have been prepared prior to deployment

"Just a reminder, Kate got lost an the ship, when they first introduced Stan Burley. "But Kate was a Secret Service Agent and she had never been on a ship, in the Army and in the Navy. While, they told us that Ziva's super-trained Mossad officer, a spy, a former member of Israeli Army and we've already seen her on two US Navy ships (Chimera and Agent Afloat) and on a cargo ship (GCBC). In all of this missions she never got lost though she went around the ships alone. It doesn't make any sense, as he doesn't make any sense that Tony was seasick. He's been Agent Afloat for over four months and we've seen him on ships many times (The Curse, High Seas, Bikini Wax, Chimera, Agent Afloat). He's never had any problems. Both this scenes are just a lame attempt of humor at NCIS characters expense and a clear disregard of continuity and details... is SB in charge again? LOL 0 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

I already posted the sea sick really bothered me. The Ziva thing, I do not remember a time when she was alone on a ship other than the Chimera and when she was going to Somalia. They were super different ships. The entire Stan inside and them outside was the only part that really seamed so odd. That is why it is hard to think the writers had done other episodes.before. I would like to see Stan and Niki come back.

Personally I feel Tony being sea sick and Ziva getting a little lost is a minor issue. Tony hasn't been on a ship for quite sometime, and sea sickness can be a random thing. There are things to consider on a ship, the smell (as McGee pointed out) what people are eating... whats cooking...so I can see it would be plausable. I think the writers have toned Ziva's character down, as they have done for quite sometime now in some ways. I feel they are making her less 'macho'. To me they have been adding more softer, femine touches to her, taking her character in a slightly different direction...as one would change in some things after six years. Ziva still kicking butt when she has to is still a big part of who Ziva really is, and I would imagine it will always be a part of her character. JMO. 5 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

"Bells, indeed. The point of the spear is nearly as sharp as it used to be in a few respects, no?"Its not so much the sharpness of the spear as the integral errors in its internal control systems that were present when it arrived and don't appear to have been corrected. Though its not totally clear as yet what part this spear will play in the fineale. Since we appear to be in the off year for damsels in distress I'm hoping for something exciting that involves the whole team. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
