This is a spoiler thread to talk about the upcoming last three episodes of S9 namely: Playing with Fire, Up in Smoke, and Till Death Us Do Part.This thread is a the request of my fellow mod rosecake (who is having problems posting new threads) who thought it would be interesting to chat about these 3 episodes in view of the spoilers we have and those yet to come. As always please be respectful of others views even when you disagree, no bashing of posters, actors, etc., and no swearing. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

You're a friend!Acording to NCIS spoilers, we're going to see many guest stars and possible recurring characters: - Dr. Samantha Ryan (listed as recurring character now) and her son. - Ziva's mentor Retired Interpol Agent Monique Lisson. - BPD Arson Detective Jason King (the kid in Baltimore) - NCIS Agent Dorneget. - NCIS Special Agent Stan Burley (Gibbs' former SFA before Tony). - NCIS Agent Wallace (new & possible recurring character): he/she is athletic, educated, capable, experienced, but with a slightly checkered past. - Stratton/Jonathan Cole. - Harper Dearing (new & possible recurring character): an eccentric business man haunted by the loss of his son, that died in a terror attack. Then there are: - Palmer's bachelor party and wedding in Florida. - A undercover mission on a ship in Italy for Tony and Ziva. - Some fires and explosions. - A leak of top-secret info from inside NCIS. - Ducky'll have his hands full of deads and injured. - Terrorism shakes the foundations of the Navy and NCIS to such an extent that our team faces surprises that will devastate them. So no listing for EJ? I felt that since they showed her in that repeat episode on Tuesday that she might be in it. But maybe the writers wanted to highlight the Phantom 8 (i havent had my coffee yet so i cant remember the name of the group so no giggles at my expense ;) Do you find this valuable? |

remember when Ziva was being sworn in as a citizen there was a case swirling around them and Gibbs and tony could not be there. I am thinking that is going to happen in Palmer's wedding where characters are going to be zooming in and out of the ceremony while working a case. Which would be very entertaining if they do it just right.Is the wedding being filmed in Florida or is the wedding in Florida? Do you find this valuable? |

The wedding is in Florida, but they filmed in CA.The latest CBS spoiler said: ''The West Wing’s Richard Schiff guest-stars as an eccentric international businessman haunted by the loss of his son, who died in a terrorist bombing. Perhaps he can be of some service when the NCIS team tries to prevent yet another terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Elsewhere: Jimmy Palmer’s getting married! But before you pop the champagne, you should also know this: Scott Wolf’s mysterious, troubled Jonathan Cole will return in the finale. Better keep that bottle on ice for now.'' The words said by Ducky and Palmer in A Desperate Man have stuck in my mind.Ducky: "Seeing him reminded you of your upcoming vows. 'Til death do us part.'" Palmer: "Those words...they're so serious. Why- why can't it be something more fun like..uh..'Until we meet again' or 'Until the next sunrise'...or...uh...'Until you lose your hair and gain 300pounds and I can't stand to look at you anymore.' " Palmer: "You know, I'm kidding. Love is blind." Ducky: "This is the most wonderful time of your life - enjoy it." I just hope that whatever the final episode for the ending season is that none of the cast members are killed off. I love the show with the current cast and could not see anyone else fitting in with the team or other actors taking over the roles..

You can't have power packed finals without guest stars...there wouldn't be enough of a storyline to make it worthwhile. From what I have read around the places, this idea of fans that " too many guest stars" is only with a minority group, compared to those who can see they are valuable. 3 out of 4 found this valuable. "You can't have power packed finals without guest stars...there wouldn't be enough oftih a storyline to make it worthwhile.."Except that the finale's that have come over time to be accepted as the best tend to be the ones with minmal guest stars where the ones, like last year, which are overloaded with them, end up being considered a washout. And those minority views are an odd one. It might well be a minority view within the fandom overall but its not within he online fandom that I can see. 2 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

Hey, does anyone have any guesses as to who they are protecting in the parking garage in the Up In Smoke promo? All you can see is Tony & Ziva squatting by a car with a third figure in between them. And Gibbs has that same look on his face after Kate got shot in Twilight. Scary.

So, saw the promo for the final episode tonight. This is a lesson in trusting your gut. When I first heard they were targeting navy ships in the finale, I thought to myself, "Hey, isn't the NCIS headquarters on the Naval Yard.?" Thought they might go with targeting the building as a potential cliffhanger. But then someone convinced me otherwise. Now I'm thinking I should've listened to my original thought. Whatever happens, I'm watching it next week!

I don't think I've been onthis message board since the end of last seasonm but getting excited for the season finale! A couple of thoughts - 1. Hasn't it felt like the status quo lately? I mean, there have been some earth-shaking events in the lives of our NCIS heros, but not of late. The Port-to-port killer was not a huge deal. The Raynosa cartel was cool, but in the end nothing changed. Kate getting shot. Director Shephard dying, those were huge events. It makes me feel that the writers are planning something big for this season finale. 2. I too agree Vance has too many open-ended stories to kill him off...but <sigh>, here are some which might happen. Dr. Mallard, who the writers are hinting at, might be heading for his demise. In real life he is in his 70's. For a rigorous schedule like NCIS does (26 episodes per season? that's a lot), I wouldn't be surprised if he retires in real life (maybe getting killed on the show). Dr. Ryan also..I'll get ot her in a second. 3. Dr. Ryan - Is it just me or does everyone's gut (including Gibbs now) think she is a villain? She seems to be more interested playing mind games than doing her job, at least successfully. 4. The show has been great, but I still feel the was sort of lost from last season. The cliffhanger was CiRay was to go after Kort. Unless I'm mistaken, that hasn't even been brought up this season. 5. How did everyone on "Watcher" fleet go bad? Do you find this valuable? |
