Tony's American Flag
Mar 22 2012, 8:03 PM EDT
Long ago, after Eli David left a small Israeli flag in Ziva's pencil cup, Tony added an American flag to his own pencil cup. In this episode, he nonchalantly put his flag to Ziva's while they talked at the end of the episode. Did this have any meaning? I suggest that it had to be premeditated on his part. He apparently was just clearing off his desk at the end of the day when Ziva arrived with the stack of files to shred. But he already had the flag in his hand when she arrived! What was he going to do with it? And is he just acknowledging her US citizenship? Is it a symbol of something else? "Can you expect a person to keep things bottled up forever?" 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I noticed the intensity of that scene also but i missed the flag bit. good observation! I think the director set that shot up nicely.Do you find this valuable? |
