If they'll keep writing in this way I think we're going to have memorable S9 in pure old good NCIS style ;) 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

The season 7 -Truth or Consequences is on USA Thursday I think. That is one of their best and my top 10 at least. So far, this season is starting like that 7 season. Many years you guys. This is great work! I cannot wait until next week. I wish we had a little more of the entire cast though

The story line was good but did anyone else have a problem with the music track? It was so loud and annoying that it interfered with the dialog in some cases. The level of the music track was much louder than usual. Was it a new director??

I haven't tried online this week but when I watched Last week's online it seemed to be buffering more than usual (and I don't think it really was buffering but it was annoying)

"Completely agree, I cannot wait till next week and after these two episode I believe S9 is going to be epic!Just watched episode again and I really enjoyed it. So far this season the acting is brilliant. MH and especially MW have really upped their game in the acting stakes this season. The look of pain in MW's face in the last scene just makes me well up, He says so much with those eyes. I Admit my interest wained slightly last season but so far this season when I have watched an episode I can't get it out of my mind, just like the old days :-) 2 out of 2 found this valuable. It was an okay episode, even though it involved a plot line used several times in other shows (one of the L&Os, for one). And that bit about Tony being bullied in school isn't really believable.

It was a classic NCIS.No recuring characters, every character has it's part, lighter mood.I like Tony/McGee scenes.Palmer was funny.I was wondering if they mention Tony's traumatic experience from SP.(It would be odd if they just go on like nothing happen.)And they did. Even more. I love Tony's story. It was unexpected. At first I though "not again-Tony feels guilty about everyone and everything" But the way how it ended up...That was a surprise. At least to say.We know Tony has his secrets and he had difficult childhood but I would never imagine that he was the one who was being teased. I though I knew him.LOL.That was a shock.Poor Tony.My favourite scene was the last one in the car with Gibbs.Do I need to add that MW was great? One thing I didn't like is the headslap.I was never a fan.(I was hoping they finished with it after Baltimore when we saw the first one) It looks forced and didn't fit.Anyway I liked Restless a lot and looking forward to the S9. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Loved this ep. Great Gibbs and Tony scene at the end. That scene made the show for me.

Final Ratings 19.51 Mill. viewers!!!I really love this episode.Very NCIS Old School! All characters in-characters. No mean jokes. No fake flirtation. Tony&McGee as real friends and colleagues (I really missed them!). Interesting, intriguing and unpredictable plot. Funny scenes. Moving and intense scenes. Continuity of storyline with Tony and his problem with his memory after the concussion (will he remember more about his mission in the future?). The case as the centre of the episode and that let us find out more info about characters' lives.Welcome Back Real NCIS!!! MW's gave us another terrific performance and his scene with MH in the end was amazing. I really like what they're doing with Tony's character. He's finally dropping the mask, let's hope that nobody stops him. I find really credible that he was abullies's victim in boarding school. He was a lonely child/teenager that had lost his mom and had been abandoned by his father, so he didn't have anybody to support and help him. We all know that he sought love and happy moments in movies, so likely he was a shy boy that didn't interact so much with his classmate. We also know that he attended more than one school so every time he had to start from the beginning on finding friends. He definitely was the perfect 'victim' :( The when he started excelling in sport and went to OSU and became a sport star , he understood that he needed to build his path alone and he had got to stop being a victim. So he put on his frat boy mask and closed the pain of the world out, but inside he was (and still is) that child desperate for love and attention that he never received. In the last scene I wanted to hug him and I'm so happy he's no longer afraid to tell Tim the truth. I think they'll be real friends after Tony's 'confession', because they'll share the same bad experience :) 3 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

I feel out of touch with everyone's opinion. To me everyone but Ducky and Palmer seemed like a stranger to me. Tony seemed most like himself but Gibbs, Abby and McGee just seemed harder, more rigid. McGee seemed least like himself. McGee always had a sweetness to him that seemed to be missing. And what's up with his voice? It was fun to see Palmer becoming more "Duckyish". 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I have had other members say they found nothing wrong with McGees voice. None of my family did in Nature of the Beast. Perhaps its just a problem with the sound mans equipment or your television stations airing.

I agree about Palmer but I don't with Abby, Gibbs and McGee being harder. How do you mean?Gibbs was Gibbs. I didn't find Abby as hard either - more mature? Yes, and thank God for that! I like smart, innocent, funloving and mature Abby. Same with McGee. Yes, McGee was the sweet, naive kind of Probie for years - then he went to smirky McGee (which to me was wrong) and now he's more mature, but still sweet McGee who is actually beginning to understand Tony. I totally loved the McGee/Tony scenes in this episode and the only one I liked better was the ending with Tony/Gibbs. GG is doing great as show runner so far - he's making sure that the continuity is there while giving us "moments" instead of just going for the latter like SB did - and I think most of us NCIS fans appreciate that (continuity), I know I do. I also feel he is getting the characters back to the way that DB envisioned them, IMO. He's giving us great Tony/Gibbs and Tony/McGee scenes again as well as showing us the fun of McGee and Ziva and Ducky and Palmer. And I feel he and the writers are bringing back those subtle little nuances that DB used to have. Take for instance the scene at the end. Tony and Gibbs watched as a foster girl and her parents were reunited after she had lied to them - not because she did it on purpose but because she really thought she was who she said, etc.. They tell her that they still care about her no matter what and they hug. Back in the car, Tony and Gibbs - who have been a little at odds (due to EJ and the mission Tony went on) lately are sitting in the car and Tony decides to tell Gibbs about his friend and the "lie" he had in his mind. Gibbs basically lets Tony know that he's there for him (just as the foster parents did) by encouraging him to talk, listening and then saying he doesn't have to tell McGee. great job S. Binder as well! 2 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |
