TV Guide - ''NCIS: What was in the folder?''''At season's end, the brand-new Secretary of the Navy handed DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) an assignment to ferret out someone suspected of selling secrets. Inside: ''A photograph," says executive producer Gary Glasberg. Of a fellow team member? ''That reveal will happen in season opener. But I guarantee it will be a difficult task for Tony." Get used to the new SecNav, played by Matt Craven. He'll ''insinuate himself into their world in a way the previous secretary didn't,'' says Glasberg, effectively taking on the adversarial/administrative role that Vance (Rocky Carroll) used to serve, which may bring Vance and the team closer. Having miraculously survived the finale, romancers EJ Barrett (Sarah Jane Morris) and CI-Ray (Enrique Murciano) are gone but could return later in Season 9, ''and a new love interest could suface for one of our main people as well.'' That's not even counting the announcement by Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen). Says Glasberg, ''We may have a spring wedding to consider, which hasn't happened in the show.'' Mike Fanks (Muse Watson) couldn't be deader, but Glasberg says he could come back - as last seen, ''not as a ghost, but Gibbs'coscience.'' Well atleast they gave us something about the new season (ie they have stuff in the planning stage). I don't know what to think of the rest of the set up from Pyramid, but Palmer getting married is something I am looking forward to next season. :D

ok...got a sneaky feeling the person in the photo is EJ. Just the look on Tony's face, i wouldn't have thought anyone in the team would sell out. I like the idea of Gibbs having his own little Jiminey Crickett has me singing!!!! Mike Franks was an integreal (!) part of Gibbs' team so it will be nice to hear the voice of reason(!!!!!!) every once and a while. The new SECNAV is going to be a blister on the back of everyone's heels!Nice to know there is going to be a wedding...better start looking for a hat now!!!!! It will be nice to see if Jimmy Palmer gets married. I just hope its not going to become some soap opera with dramas. I don't feel it will be Ziva and Ray. Personally I hope not. I think that changes too much if that happens.

I would only want to see his first one though.To see a flashback of a young Gibbs in Marine dress w/Shannon would be a cool moment. However, a particular segment of the wedding vows would make for a somber moment as well for Gibbs.. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I would be curious to see who the various wedding attendees bring as guests to this shingdig should one not come alone. I still get a kick out of that almost maniacal smile Palmer has on his face when he introduces the now future Mrs. Palmer to the group in the squadroom. Tony's subsequent look is equally priceless at Black Lung's good fortune Do you find this valuable? |

Or he could be reminded of when he married very young in order to get a Green Card into the US ! .. I think it would make Gibbs smile if he heard his friend was married - that could be one of many ideas for a backstory for Ducky I think : )
