Season 8 is over (sigh) and it left us with some answers, but with lots of questions too. Just like last year, now it's time for all of us to write our personal ''wishes list'' to 'Santa' Gary Glasberg and all NCIS scriptwriters :) What would like to see? Who would you like to see again? Which crimes? Action? Pesonal stories? What would you like to see on Season Premiere? What would you like to be the Season 9 long arc? Let's start asking, talking and analysing... maybe they'll listent to us LOL NOTES: - Spoilers Allowed but rumors forbidden. - Be nice with everybody and respect all opinions and members. - Do not bash any characters and/or actor, and respect their privacy. - Remember that 'hate' is not a good word and it's not nice to say that even though you do not like a character. - Stay on Topic. I hope they resolve it within the 1st two episodes-no long drawn out affair. I still don't get how one minute Ziva won't even read Ray's messages and the next they're back together. Tim's my fav so more of him will always be welcome. We have to see Jimmy's wedding - imagine Tony organising the stag do. As for the Politics being more involved next season, that might not prove as bad as some think. Lets face it politics do play a part in the military. I know it was mentioned that they had already cross out OBL face on the wall but they could do a flashback episode. Would the real NCIS have been involved in that mission in anyway given that it was a Navy team that took him down. Not sure what they could do. Ziva to be developed at bit more consistently - can we please have details of Somalia. An Abby Origin episode and a Ducky one. More development with Gibbs and Vance and Tony and Tim. They don't need to be fighting over whose way is best. They work well together that is what is best. Neither Tony nor Tim should feel like they mean less to one person and more to the other. I want the team to work as a team (like they used to in episodes like Chimera) I miss that dysfunctional family dynamic. I, too, want to see an Abby origin story. And I want to see a kinder, sweeter Abby. As I posted in another thread, I don't like where the writers have taken her the last two years. She seems mean and petty, especially to Tim... As a McAbby fan, I want to see some romance...I know that a lot of fans want to keep the 'soap opera' out of things, but what's wrong with a little violation of Rule 12? If the writers want to keep the story believable, somewhere, sometime, somebody has to find a lasting relationship. Otherwise, this becomes 'Bonanza' revisited. For those of you who don't remember that old western, any time Little Joe kissed a girl, she died before the end of the episode...His kiss was like anthrax... I want Gibbs to be John Wayne again I want to see more of the Baltimore cop in Tony and less of the class clown. Just once I'd like to see Ducky do something besides taking a liver temp. DM is a really great veteran actor and extremely talented. Do any of you older fans remember him as Ashley-Pitt in The Great Escape, or as Judus Iscariot in The Greatest Story Ever Told? Finally, I want to see Tim take the lead in a case and wow everybody, including Gibbs with his abilities, and not just for his computer savvy. Let's see what 8 years of Gibbs training has done for this guy ...And I want Thom E. Gemcity to write another book...But this one should be about a new character for MacGregor and company: Linda Dottic (Hint: rearrange the letters) Post reply 7 out of 8 found this valuable. I want him smacking heads, and getting mad when the team gets sidetracked from the case. Give me more Yankee White, Sub Rosa, Bete Noire, Call of Silence,SWAK, Twilight, Kill Ari 1 and 2, Bloodbath, Hiatus, Chimera, Requeim, Judgement Day, Agent Afloat, Heartland, South by Southwest, Truth or Consequences, and Power Down. She told Megee that one day she may have to arrest her own father in Swan Song. what I would like to see is 1.) a real true friendship develop between Abby and Ziva.Something that has not been there.Ziva to let her hair down and have some fun-Abby shows her this.Ziva shows Abby how to fight and defend herself.For fun after clubbing Abby takes Ziva for her first tat.Maybe a undercover op for them.Ziva has not had a true women friend since Jenny.Abby has not had a real friend since Kate.Stop some of all the testosterone! Lets have some girls just want to have fun.Ziva needs to let her hair down and stop pining over a guy. Maybe share with Abby about Somali, 2) Maybe a little bit of Mcgee really show case his ability as a agent, loyal friend.Give him a little credit.Maybe Tony backing him up for once but with no snarkiness.But mutual respect.Still can call him his mc names they are cute. 3) Seeing Gibbs interact with Amira. He is really good with kids.See Gibbs back to his old self. Smile once in a while. After this finale I need some light heartiness.Old team goodness.No more muddying the waters with so many unwanted characters. Back to basics after this P2P. For some reason I do not think it is over. I used to look forward to Tuesday nights NCIS now I am getting discouraged at the direction out team is heading.More Tony hiding things from Gibbs and the rest of his team. Just two small things: - Ziva has already a tatoo as Tony said on ''SbySW'' - I do not agree about Tony's snarkiness and not acknowledge Tim's skills and abilities, and his no respect for McGee. LOL" More like Baltimore? Yes, please! LOL And also: Find out what happened with Wendy--Jimmy's engagement offers an opportunity to do that. More Tony/Jimmy friend moments, like the high-five in "Obsession", the tap-dance convention reference, and "Agent Palmer" being Tony's sounding-board. Abby backstory and to meet Abby's brother (PP has an actor friend, whose pic she posted on Twitter, that she says she would like to appear as Abby's little brother. The guy looks so much like PP that, if she had said he was her real brother, I would not have believed otherwise!). We know how Gibbs came to NCIS, we've gotten Ducky backstory in "Broken Bird", we saw McGee come to NCIS in season 1 and got family information in "Twister Sister", we saw Ziva come to NCIS and got family info. in the Mossad storylines, and now, finally, we know how Tony joined NCIS. We just don't know how Abby came to NCIS. More displays of Tony's cop and undercover skills. More of the team working together as a team, though it seems like GG plans to do that for us. I'll never understand why they had to spend nearly 3 seasons having the members of the team at odds with each other. More scenes with Abby and Tony together. And I will never complain about plenty of scenes with Gibbs and Tony. I see his mother as a overprotective mommy and his father as a very severe dad. I'd like to see how Abby joined NCIS and when she first met Tony. I love this two together! DiNozzo Sr. back in DC just to see his son and tell him that he's rich again and that from now on he'll live a honest life. But not involved in an NCIS case. I want a really good girlfriend for Tony that doesn't work for any LEO. I'd like to see Tobias Fornell, Sacks, Dawyen Wilson, Cassey Yates and Stan Burley again. No more Eli David and Mossad, please. Let Ziva live her new life peacefully and stop with the flip-flop of this character. An undercover mission for Tony&Gibbs and/or Tony&McGee, where they work together as an well-oiled machine and have to save the other life. (Spoilers Allowed) May 18 2011, 9:15 PM EDT Very good wish lists I was hoping to never have any more Mossad storylines but I am guessing from the mention of Tel Aviv that we might. I just hope that if Eli returns, he is not the father that sends Ziva on a suicide mission but the father from earlier that seemed to love her in his own way. I would also like to see both Jackson and Senior make guest appearances next year - not to do with the cases but just to visit their sons and their extended families - the NCIS team. I would love for Jackson and Senior to meet - I think that would be a hilarious sideline to an episode. Definitely want to see more Abby and Tony scenes. Very few this season - very few Abby scenes at all this season. I hope that GG gets back to showing Abby and Ducky a little more. On that note, I think that McGee deserves more air time as well. He was practically non-existent in these last few episodes. I could understand Baltimore with it being a Tony episode from early in his career but what about the season finale? They were so busy with the new guys they didn't have time for him? And that brings me to another wish. Never again have that many people jumbled up in the season finale - or throughout the year. Not enough time for our favorites and it gets too cluttered, rushed and confusing. As many Tony/Gibbs scenes as possible since I love these two the most. And I would also like some more Tony/McGee scenes as well - someone mentioned them going undercover. I think that would be great. With the few scenes that we have had these past few years where Tony and McGee go out in the field together - I have loved them because they were nice to each other, still teasing and Tony watched out for McGee. Would like to see the grown-up Probie watch Tony's back as well. And it would be fun to see Ziva and Gibbs worrying and wondering about those two - you know they would have to wonder what they were up to, LOL Post reply 4 out of 5 found this valuable.
