"Welcome to CBS Tuesday!" Finally! The opening: Borin is bored with her blind date and can't run away on a boat. So she makes her way to the bar, where she meets a cute Marine. He walks away and ends up dead not five minutes later. The bullpen scene from the promo. "Skippy" (i.e. DiNozzo) is counting up his comp time so he can get more time off, but Gibbs interrupts and they go check out the body. They meet up with Borin, whose bloody dress will serve as evidence. Tony does his Albert Finney impression, and telling everyone that they'll be interrogated. The uncle and sister of the victim are questioned by Ziva and McGee. Turns out they're rather rich and famous, and the media is all over their story. The Marine gave up his claim to the family business to serve. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Gibbs awakens Sleepy McGee.The Marine was cut out of his very wealthy father's will because his father and he disagreed on his choice of occupation. Tony and Ziva interview Borin's date, who is annoying but not much else. They tell Borin that they've learned there was an argument between a waiter...and the victim? (I missed part of it) Ducky's telling his corpse what he thinks about us going from "Socrates to Snooki," as far as the horrors of The types of bullets used suggests to Ducky that the murderer was trained in the military. Tony interviews a former Marine (he was dishonorably discharged) who has a bad temper and a gun that matches the type used in the shooting. The waiter recognized the victim and had told him that joining the Marines was merely a stunt. Suspect claims he was on the other side of the boat. Abby gives Borin a condolences letter for the death of the Coast Guard service mascot. Gibbs tells her she's the NCIS mascot, and she tells him that given the trajectory of the bullet, the shooter wasn't on the boat. Do you find this valuable? |

Sorry guys, my computer shut down and I'm not taping it so this is a little fuzzy. The Marine victim, Jeremy Nolan, was charged with assault according to McGee. Tony and Ziva go to interrogate first the uncle and the family company's CFO (who says he was pretty much adopted by the Nolans), who explain that Jeremy had a history with this other guy who was a bully. The guy was dating his sister and had battered the girl, so the charges against Jeremy were dropped. The "Abbys" look through photos taken on the boat, and find one that shows the model of the second boat. Tony and Ziva go to interview the sister's former boyfriend, and surprise, surprise he's still an a-hole. He says he doesn't own that type of boat, and that the paparazzi are his alibi. Our Abby thinks there might be a second victim. Borin gets a call: Coast Guard has discovered another victim. The second victim is examined by Ducky, and Gibbs thinks he might have been the one to shoot Jeremy Nolan. Kyle Dansby has a history of battery, and he's been previously investigated for "murders for hires." McGee is a little tired, and Borin takes over for him, much to his annoyance. She explains where the body was probably dropped. And the Lodge family owns a place nearby. Using twitter, they track the younger Lodge to a club. Tony and Ziva pick him up. In interrogation, Lodge is drunk and uncooperative. McGee comes in with a laptop and explains why they couldn't find any pics of Lodge from that night. Turns out, the night of the murder, Lodge has an alibi: ZMZ has footage of him entering a club with the daughter of a senator. It gets him off the hook for murder, but the team arrests him any way for having sex with a minor. (Question about jurisdiction?) Do you find this valuable? |

I didn't get the very last part. Gibbs had the same exact picture - why?! Was that Gibbs in the picture?! I am confused :(Good episode. I liked it very much; it was good to see Agent Borin again. After watching her in this episode, I change my mind - I would like to see her again, but not too often :D I just wish Ziva would say what R's name is. Please TPTB, please give the name of R, why keep his name secret?! Anyways, I liked all the scenes, especially the Tiva scenes, the scene where Ziva caught the pen and threw it back. The fight scene, the scene where Tony imitated some guy while talking to the passengers. Do you find this valuable? |

Poor McGee is soo sleepy. Tony wakes him up, as Gibbs and Borin come in. The team doesn't have anything much to Gibbs' disgust. McGee gets an email that says the father's will was changed at the last moment. Turns out, Jeremy was planning on turning the company into a non-profit Abby is sucking down CafPows like crazy. The uncle served as legal council for Dansby, the second victim. Adams, the CFO, was on the boat at some point. The sister would be out of a cushy job, if Jeremy had been able to go through with his plan. Altogether that leaves them with...nothing. Do you find this valuable? |

Gibbs decides it's time to break Rule #1: Never leave suspects together. (Borin has her own set of rules) They go to interrogate the three, and the uncle tells the other two to shut up. Gibbs and Borin circle them, trying to get one of them to break. Gibbs wants to know why the sister doesn't seem shocked that they've just accused these two men of her brother's murder. Her shoulder reveals that she was grazed when she took her brother out on the deck. She says she didn't want to do it, that the other two put her up to it. Adams breaks and says she's lying, it was all the lawyer's idea. As a lawyer, the uncle has a record, naturally. The tape has the sister and Adams discussing the plan to kill Jeremy. Everyone is looking exhausted, and Gibbs finally sends them home. Borin and Gibbs are acting like the energizer bunny,. A Naval officer comes in with a revised version of Jeremy's will. It turns out he's also a lawyer who became friends with Jeremy while they served. There's a picture of them in the desert attached to the will. Jeremy had cut his sister out, and turned the company into a non-profit. Tony has three weeks of comp time, which he won't take because it would mean someone else would be working temporarily at his desk. Behind Gibbs' desk he's now hung up the photo of Nolan and his friend. (Borin had asked McGee earlier if the pictures were of Gibbs' friends, but McGee had started to say that Gibbs doesn't have too many friends.) Do you find this valuable? |

I liked the episode, but I was interrupted all through out it. My favorite part was Abby #2 asking if that was a record of Caf-pows, and Abby saying that they don't talk about the record, it was ugly. That made my boyfriend and me both laugh. I loved Gibbs and Abby #2 interaction. What I'm really excited is about is the Bob Newheart episode next week, it's suppose to be amazing.

So, I was pleasantly surprised by this episode, shows that the promos really don't show you that much.CGIS has a dang good track record of episodes now, even if it's only two episodes, I love the Gibbs/Borin stuff, and it looks as though the Abby's have a cool relationship, nice! Tony was not an idiot, in fact, I immensely enjoyed his interrogation sequences, and loved it when he punched the playboy in the face. Also, breaking rule No.1 was intriguing, a good showing for a writer that hasn't exactly had a great track record. But I would have to say that the favorite part of the episode was the end, really, NCIS should involve the Marines and Navy more, they are presented so well. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Hey, wait a minute! OT, but I cannot believe that they just reused a joke from the original on LA. Seriously, Tony already chose cryogenics as the third alternative to cremation or casket.

"So, I was pleasantly surprised by this episode, shows that the promos really don't show you that much.WAH! I didn't get to see him punch the guy in the face! He certainly deserved it, the creep. Oi, could someone look back and see if I missed anything else really important? Yes, I thought the same thing about the Marines and their portrayal tonight. The writers did a good job of giving them a much deserved nod of respect. Do you find this valuable? |

I liked this ep. Not a fan of Borin (I can only see her L&O character) and I'm a much bigger fan of Holly Snow for Gibbs, but I thought it was a better ep than we'd seen recently. It was good to see Tony in character funny but not to the ridiculous points and good to see him competent again in interrogation and with the punch. I enjoyed the writers sense of humor over the 2 rule #1's, via McGee's comment. I am incredibly excited at what I assume is the beginning set up into the future ep dealing with Tony's time in Baltimore via Borin's last phone call. But I have a question.Did anyone notice the faces Tony was making in the background while bent over at his desk behind the back of the lawyer reservist who was telling Gibbs he'd drafted a new will for Nolan? Weatherly was making some strange faces and one of them looked like he was in pain to me -- though he wasn't in good focus to be sure. Just wondering if it made sense in the scene to anyone else? Or if it wasn't meant to have been in the shot. Do you find this valuable? |
