Did I miss??

Did I miss Fornell getting a divorce from Gibbs' ex?? It seems to be the case although I'm sure I would have remember it as the conversation would have risen a couple of giggles between Fornell and Gibbs. Anyone know for sure if that is the case?Thanks Carol Do you find this valuable?

Anyone know for sure if that is the case?Hi Caz21. Yes, the same woman who divorced Gibbs, later divorced Fornell. And, just as she did with Gibbs, she also cleaned out Fornell's bank account. This was established in an episode that I can't recall off the top of my head, but I'm sure that someone else will be able to point you to it *smiling*. What's truly interesting about this "dual divorce" is that it has served to be a huge shot in the arm for the relationship between Gibbs and Fornell. Do you find this valuable? |

(Kate and Tony exchange glances) Fornell: You could have warned me. Gibbs: I did. Fornell: (looks at Kate and Tony) In my own defense, I thought he was exaggerating. He wasn't. (they discuss Ari and Gibbs tells fornell that Ari is a double agent) Are you sure about this? Gibbs: As sure as when I told you she would clean out your bank account when she left. By the time Fornell started coming around NCIS, he was already divorced from her, too. Do you find this valuable? |

Ah, okay, yes, I remember that scene. Seems like a lifetime ago. Just seems that Fornell appears to be shacked up with Gibbs now, so assumed it was very recent. Thanks for the info :)

Yeah, I agree, they do seem to be good buddies now, don't they? :) I rmember a recent episode when the bad guy was threatening Fornells kid. I'm assuming that was the same wife. Guess the ex really took him to the cleaners, kid and all.Thanks for the response :) Do you find this valuable? |

Guess the ex really took him to the cleaners, kid and all.The bad guy treathened Emily, Fornell's daughter in the second episode of season 4. In another season 4 episode Fornell was dropping her off at his ex wife's and Gibbs was waiting for him. The ex wife was not happy to see them : Fornell asked Gibbs if she was pissed at him too after the divorce to which Gibbs answered "she is looking at ME Tobias" I love Fornell/Gibbs scenes Do you find this valuable? |
