"what was that orange wristwatch on Gibbs's wrist?"somebody brought that up a couple of episodes ago and I believe the answer is that belongs to Mark Harmon and it is some expensive brand. Don't know any more than that. Mark just had a birthday, perhaps it was a gift to him. 6 out of 9 found this valuable. Do you? |

"what was that orange wristwatch on Gibbs's wrist?"actually I was online earlier and there is a blog entry about that...it just gives an explanation of the type but in simpler terms I think someone said it was a divers watch. it may be something Mark himself likes to wear..he has been known to wear it off screen as well. 1 out of 4 found this valuable. there was an article on that orange wrist watch. apparently it is very expensive and the band is omega.

They have both worn them for the past several seasons, but MH is wearing the one with the orange "steel on rubber" strap this season (or at least the past few episodes), as opposed to the steel band of past seasons. Nice watches. very expensive. I'm not very observant as I can't recall ever noticing the watches that they wear on the show.

I actually stumbled across the "watch-id" website with the photos of MH's and MW's watches on the show one day months ago while searching for information for a patron. Apparently I filed enough of the information away in the dusty corners of my brain to remember enough to find the website again. Patrons come into the library all the time asking for help identifying items, and this guy had a pocket watch we were trying to identify. Beautiful wristwatches, but price tags in the $3,000.00 range are more than a little out of my league. 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |
