Tks, Hotchfan! This will be my first whole season on here, looking forward to being in at the beginning and not having to "catch up"! I can't wait for the show to air and it helps knowing when filming is to start. Glad our team is all returning and hope all our favorite occasional characters (Franks, Fornell, Kort) will be back!

Are we still allowed to talk about the clues we've been trying to piece together from several previous seasons before Season 8 finally starts this Fall? Hope so *smiling*. Thanks for making this thread "spoiler free" for us, too. So, everyone....where were we in our other thread? Let's pick up our discussion there again. "Hi Gottahave! I'm also hoping that Franks, Fornell, and Kort will be back next season. Each of them has had so much to offer this series, and their differing "personalities" have been a lot of fun to examine over the years. I know that some of us want to have a little "closure" where Eli is concerned, but I'm hoping that more about him doesn't turn into a big Eli/Ziva melodrama if he does a return. Maybe we should start talking more about what we'd like to see for Ziva next year that goes beyond "Tiva" *smiling*. I really want her to get a firmer grip on being Tony's partner (only), and focusing on her already established excellent Agent skills. I'm also looking forward to more development of the Ducky/Palmer relationship. I love how they are "relating" now, so it should just get better and better *smiling*. 3 out of 4 found this valuable. *checks out the new digs* Wow, lots of space for us to fill before the new season...Hi S-L, I agree about the difference between closure and tedious arc as far as the Eli storyline. But how do you feel about the introduction of a new, perennial bad guy à la Ari? Someone who pops up now and then, but mostly stays out of the picture? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Each of them has had so much to offer this series, and their differing "personalities" have been a lot of fun to examine over the years. I know that some of us want to have a little "closure" where Eli is concerned, but I'm hoping that more about him doesn't turn into a big Eli/Ziva melodrama if he does a return. Maybe we should start talking more about what we'd like to see for Ziva next year that goes beyond "Tiva" *smiling*. I really want her to get a firmer grip on being Tony's partner (only), and focusing on her already established excellent Agent skills. I'm also looking forward to more development of the Ducky/Palmer relationship. I love how they are "relating" now, so it should just get better and better *smiling*. "Hi SL and GHMNCIS, I'd be glad, too if we can see Franks, Kort and Fornell next season. I was missing Kort, the character we love to hate. Yep, SL, I'd really like to tie the loose ends up as for Eli. No big drama- just closure. I'm curious what the writers have in store for Ziva this year - no more a Mossad liaison officer but an NCIS agent and American citizen. And I also hope she will be a coequal partner for Tony having overcome the Tiva thing. 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Well, yeah...it never hurts to have at least one horrible villian up to no good, always lurking in the background across a season, or two. I'm not sure that I'm ready for another Ari *cringing*, but his run with NCIS was very interesting, to say the least. Do you find this valuable? |

"Yeah, I also hope that if Eli returns it would not be something big and dramatic between Eli and Ziva and Gibbs, as he will definitely be invovled, since Eli probably thinks that Gibbs stole his daughter :D If he returns, I want it to be short and the reception he recives form the team, especially Ziva and Gibbs should not be pleasant. I hope to see more of Ziva, as she was hardly shown last season season after the first few episodes. Maybe she can get a boyfriend, or an agent that she likes from another agency that keeps poping up. And maybe she can have a little underocver stint of her own, as she is undercover material. And there should be some Ziva Abby scenes, like Abby had with Kate. There was only one with Ziva and Abby - the one with the cupcake, that was so sweet of Ziva. Oh, and there was that one scene in Abby's lab, when Abby scolded Ziva then hugged her and this banner draped down. Hope there is less character backstories, cause we need more NCIS - more action, more drama, more gunfight and more complex cases that always keeps you guessing. They definitely need to leave Gibbs alone after this story arc of his is completed, let him heal and recover, he has been through soo much h*ll - poor Gibbs. And they need to also leave Ziva alone for a while now - wrap up the Eli/Ziva storyline, yes, but a bit quitely, not much drama. If they wanna dig into the characters backgrounds, then it shouls be McGee and Abby. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

There will always be some sort of tension and suspense - wondering when he is gonna pop up again, what his next move would be....It would be nice to have another "perennial bad guy à la Ari". But no one is to get killed this time - maybe they suffer a few minor injuries or somone get kidnapped, maybe it could be McGee. But whatever happens, no one dies and all injuries will be minor. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
