Obviously I am addicted and obsessive/compulsive when it comes to NCIS.....I watch it at 4pm, 7pm(same episode) and midnight....will tape any shows I cannot watch....Grew up watching Mark Harmon (yes I am old!!) but LOVE watching Michael Weatherly!!!!! The whole cast is incredible and irresistable...am rewatching 2007 episodes with Tony and Jeanne Benoit....sooooo good... My husband laughs at me but he really enjoys Abby.....someone for both of us...sorry gotta go NCIS is on...

AETV.COM has a web site with a forum (much like this one but, of course, not nearly as nice) where they have open chats or discussion about their shows. INTERVENTION may offer you some small solace. You can read about other's addictions and if not pick up some advice, feel better about yourself for only being addicted to TV shows - there are worse addictions. If you're feeling very low, check out the HOARDERS forum. You may never appreciate your family and housekeeping skills as much as you will after reading some of the posts there. I am from the school that misery loves company.I certainly am not mocking any addictions because all of us have them. I live in NYC and have Time Warner Cable with perhaps 1500 channels, plus pay per view. Often I have NCIS running on two channels at the same time. I try to DVR as many of the NCIS episodes at a time and then watch them, zipping through commercials - much like Abby and her roller blades.When there's an NCIS marathon I turn off my cell phone, disconnect my land line, strip to my briefs, lay in my king size bed and watch my wall - mounted 60" HD TV and unless I am expecting Angelina Jolie for cocktails, answer the door for no one. So I totally understand how you feel. I am now really loving the older episodes, probably more than when I first saw them. I am depressed only because there may be no Timmy this season. We need Timmy.
