Interesting decisions. I hope they don't forget that Abby's parents are deaf. While this might limit the characters possibilities, I like this aspect of Abby's character and I don't like inconsistency in the show.

I'm not sure if I want to see Vance's extended family, when there is still some questions about the man himself. I think the Vance-centric episode of S8 will resolve the issues from his first centric episode "Knockout".

And an 80 year old woman bowling a 260, that would be amazing. I can't see it happening though that Betty White would appear.

It was Gena Rowlands, not Gena Davis by the way.

Hmm, how much of an ST fan are you?!! Me too and altho I do agree with Special W. about Vance's family, I'd LOVE to have Nichelle Nichols on...in any role and we know she can do drama! Jonathan Frakes, yes as McGee's father. Great idea - Betty White as Sr. Rosita, as long as it isn't campy and the story is believable...BW is very hot these days and I for one don't want to be overly distracted by a guest star. These are some fun - and some seriously good - suggestions!

I forgot Robert Vaughn!! This seems a natural to me - especially since the "Men" from Uncle were spies - could just do a quick cameo OR more (more is better!) with David Mc. Could be done very sweetly. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I like the Johnathan Frakes idea.
Other suggestions:
Joe Flanigan-from Stargate Atlantis, a very underrated actor
Nathan Fillion-from Firefly and Castle, would play great off of Tony
David Hewlett-also from Stargate Atlantis, would be great with McGee
Matthew Fox-off of Lost
Richard Dean Anderson-because he's just awesome

How's this for a germ of knowledge...

McGee translates as "son of Hugh" and guess what? McKay translates as..."son of Hugh"

Wow, you're quite McGoldmine of information :)

On a guest cast note, I also think Hugh Laurie would be interesting

I'd like to see David James Elliott and Catherine Bell both in the one episode. Mark has worked with Robert Vaughn before. They did a movie together. So it would be great to have him come into an episode as well. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Really like Jonathon Frakes...I love Star Trek. He'd be great for Tim's dad...but think you could even use JF real life wife as Tim's mom....love Genie Francis( I hope they are still together)......who is Mc Kay...I missed a first name along the way???
I do want to see Robert Vaughn with Ducky...something really special..like an old friend in trouble...and would love an ep w/ Sisiter Rosita witnessing a murder of a navy officer
also loved JAG...but not sure how you put DJE and CB into an epiosde.

Dr. Rodney McKay is a character on Stargate Atlantis played by David Hewlett. Basically he's a tech geek who helps the Stargate Atlantis team with their explorations into the Pegasus Galaxy, likes to whine, but has his heroic moments.
You should look into the show, along with the other Stargates:
Original 1994 film by Roland Emmerich
SG-1-first and most popular series
Atlantis-the spinoff
Universe-sort of spinoff, but has a different feel, think Battlestar Galactica or Lost

How about a Robert Vaughn guest appearance. He is only one year older than David McCallum. It could be snarky to have him work again with Ducky. And what the neck, bring Stephanie Powers in as well (I know it was a spin-off show). 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Two top choices for me:

Cher - as a villain
Julia Louis-Dreyfus - as McGee's sister
