Robert Vaughn and David McCallum together

I think it would be fun if the writers came up with an episode that had David McCallum and Robert Vaughn together again. Maybe Vaughn could play the villian and Ducky could solve the case with Gibbs. Could be a lot of fun if done right.

That'd be cool, and the first time it would have happened since they appeared together in "The A Team". What's ironic is that British born David McCallum is working in the US, and, all American, Robert Vaughn is working in the UK on a show called "Hustle" for the BBC.

I'd love to have Robert Vaughn on the show, that would really be awesome. Haven't Robert himself said that he would like to be on an episode of NCIS? Thought I read that somewhere once.

Hi guys ,i live in liverpool in the UK ,and NCIS is very big over here ,i was just thinking the same thing about David and Robert ,two really good actors who have stood the test of time ,just watched a biopic of Natalie Wood yesterday ,who pops up as a friend <escort>Robert Vaughn,and of course the main part played by Mark Weatherly as Robert Wagner ,the thought of David and Robert acting together would be fantastic ,i believe he is the last actor of the magnificent 7 cast to be alive ,best make it soon guys !

I may be dating myself, but I remember watching Illya Kuryakin (I had such a crush on him) and Napoleon Solo on "The Man From U.N.C.L.E" when I was a kid. They were great together. I noticed in another thread that Ducky is coming back next year. Perhaps Robert Vaughn could have a part. And maybe Ziva could ask him what he looked like when he was young and he could reply "Napoleon Solo". That was one of my favorite NCIS lines during “The Meat Puzzle” when Kate asked Gibbs “What did ducky look like when he was young” and Gibbs replied “Illya Kuryakin”. Anyway I would love to see them together again. I wish they would have more “Ducky” related episodes. I miss his mom. She was a hoot!

oh sure!! I miss her too - some of her lines were so outrageously funny but I loved the scene between Ducky and Abby - at the grave-side when Abby was such a comforting presence. The little dog she was puppy-walking ran up to Dr. Mallard - her enquiry for Victoria's corgis was sooo Abby, and they had been shipped home to a corgi worshipping friend - a neat touch, that they had not been forgotten, A lovely scene. I like your idea for an Episode too = do you write ??

Or perhaps a charming and gracious Nurse he knew - who is now a "Matron" or Chief Nursing Officer - isn't that what they are called now.
