Haha Love Ziva-isms. I like the ones you picked as well as others. Some of the others I like are:Gibbs Social Security is here to pick up the boy. I smell a fish when she was suppose to say there is something fishy going on. He is such a Pimp Do you find this valuable? |

I love all Ziva-isms too and I think we need some more of them in Season 7 . What do you think about these ?- "Look who's calling the pot black" (Under Covers) - "I'm braless" (Boxed In - talking about her cell)) - "Ducky , drip it" (Hiatus 1) - "The dead cab driver was not a gypsy" (Designed Target) Tony: "... you don't use contractions" Ziva: "What are contraptions ?" 2 out of 3 found this valuable. I loved the "You can't make an omlette without breaking a few legs"! Not sure what the ep it was but Tony was like "well your never making me Breakfast, and the "Red Throats" part in the bar in Faith! Oh and the "Ba Hambog" bit in Faith too lol!

yes, I love zivaisms, although I have to admit, I don't know half of them myself, a 2 personal favourotes, and they both occured in observationZiva: I have learnt from gibbs that sometimes you can catch more bees with honey Tony: flys Ziva: what do flys have to do with it Tony: flys...don't like vinager Ziva: vinager? Tony: its complicated and my favourite, purely for john's reaction Ziva: It’s like shooting fish in a pond. Carson: I um… I think you mean a barrel. Ziva: Why would a fish be in a barrel? Carson: Um… I um… it’s a good point. I never really thought about it before. Ziva: Mm-hmm. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I crack up everytime I hear them, my favorite is when she says something like "It's time to bite the dog on the hair" or something like that, can't remember the exact quote or episode but the look on DiNozzo's face says it all.

Yes, the "sit on the baby" line is hilarious! Having struggled to understand idioms in two other languages I can definitely sympathize, so for me the funniest part is everyone else's reactions, (i.e. Fornell's expression when she tells him she's misunderstood "Once in a blue lagoon") From "Stake Out" Ziva: The Jack she's with is just gross. Tony: You mean John. Ziva: *gasp* You know him? Tony: Oh my God... Season 3 Ziva: (talking about Abby) She's probably passed on by now. McGee: The term is passed out. Ziva: Whatever, the girl is tired. Ziva: (to a grouchy Tony) Did you wake up in the wrong bed this morning? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

"Yes, the "sit on the baby" line is hilarious!I always thought the last line from Ziva wasn't so much a real Ziva-ism in that it wasn't a mistake with the language, but a deliberate action on Ziva's part to get under Tony's skin. Another non Ziva ism I like, where the guys think Ziva is getting things wrong is in "Semper Fidelis" when Ziva tells McGee she's up a tree. She really is up a tree, but McGee thinks she's getting her idioms wrong again. Do you find this valuable? |

The ones you had were great. My favorite one is in Season 5 Episode "Designated Target". Ziva and Tony are talking about how long Ziva has been in the USTony: "How long have you been in this country?" Ziva:"Why?" Tony:"Well, you've never heard of gypsy cabs, you don't use contractions, assimulate already!" Ziva:"What are contraptions?" Tony:"Never mind." Do you find this valuable? |

To hadapurpura: Don't mean to be rude, but I, personally, like to have the Ziva-isms correct. Your one is good though, just not entierely correct. I like the one in Agent Afloat (I think) when Tony is talking about coincidences and says "cowinkidink" and Ziva goes" What is a Co-wink-a-kwink?" then Tony says it's a coincidence and then Ziva says "so you think this is a co-winky-cwink?
