Abby's Upcoming Arc

Because if so, ew. In any case, executive producer Shane Brennan sounds delighted about an arc he has planned for Abby this season — and says Gibbs plays a big part in it. "[Abby] does have a special relationship with Gibbs, [who has changed] because of the journey he has taken over the past two-and-a-half seasons," Brennan says. "Most people will see that Gibbs smiles more now; he's kind of warming up. There's certainly more to learn about the relationship between Gibbs and Abby, and we play toward that in this special arc of Abby's." Yes, I am pleased that Abby will have her own arc..I doubt it means that Gibbs and Abby will have anything other than a father/daughter/close relationship. I think Gibbs will help her in some way to grow up more...Abby may very well help him emotionally too..if anyone can do it, she can.

Thanks for posting--- that's such great news for both characters :)"Some time back - I was re-watching some old episodes - Abby was very scared - stalked - I believe - anyway - Gibbs joined her in the elevator and I seem to remember Palmer being about to get in - and Gibbs giving that devastating "Smiling Jethro" smile - Abby was curled up next to Jethro and being hugged - man she had been scared but Gibbs was there for her and a comforting shoulder to lean on - it was a really beautiful and friendly scene 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Hopefully there will be a new arc in season 9 with her real brother. That could be a very emotional storyline. I am looking forward to it.

She is a little too excitable for me at times but when she calms downs, the things she says and the way she acts packs an emotional wallop, everytime! 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
