"I think Gibbs and Tony are closer than they let on maybe they really do have a father/son dynamic we occasionally see. Also going back to heartland why did Jackson give Tony the sweater? It was to random to of been done by accident as they made a point of mentioning it"I agree with you . We've got to remember that Tony has lived at Gibbs' one or twice , at least ! And I also wondered why and when Jackson has given Tony that sweater , because , when Tony arrived at Jackson's drugstore , he looked at him and started introducing himself , that means that they have never met before ... I just watched Heartland, but I didn't think to watch specifically for the reason Jackson gave Tony the sweater. Was his jacket in the car when it blew up? Did his jacket get disgusting while he was going through the dumpster? Hmm, I might have to watch it again and look for that carefully.

I didn't get to see the episode when it was first broadcast but saw it last night for the first time. Two points: 1) this is the first time I know of where Gibbs admits he has a problem with his knees and 2) Gibbs puts his gun down but tells Ziva to take the shot. Does this mean Gibbs acknowledges Ziva is a better shot than he is with small arms?

Guy with a hostage, Kevin Costner/Gibbs talking to the gunman and not aggravating the situation by putting their guns down, Andy Garcia / Ziva the eagle-eye shooters. The Untouchables script was Costner asking Garcia "Got him?", Garcia "Got him", Costner "Take him". Bad guy down. No steps, no baby carriage, no smarmy accountant - but a similar flavor.
