Bathurst

Australia's premier motor race is on today.Bathurst 1000. 30 cars, all from two manufacturers (GM and Ford). 1,000 kilometres (about 600 miles). 161 laps. At a mountain near Bathurst, NSW. Flag drops... Hell Corner (90degree left). Somehow all 30 cars get through there unscathed (sometimes) Long straight heading towards the mountain. Bend right, left, right,... climbing up to the top. Over Skyline, and drop down the other side. Kink left at Forrest Elbow, and down Conrod straight. Top speed, 300kph Slow for a right, left, right kink called The Chase Short straight then a 90degree left into the start straight. 160 laps to go... If you guys'n'gals get the opportunity to see this, then ENJOY. {Sorgy, can you leave this for 24 hours, please? I know it isn't on topic, but there's some petrol-heads here who might be interested} 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
