i just saw an interview with the NCIS cast. when they are talking about season 6. and Mark Harmon said that Gibbs was used to having 4 ex wifes, but now he has 5. who's 5 ? - it must be told in season 6. Do you find this valuable?

I think he made a small mistake there. Slip of the tongue. Or maybe a joke, because he(Gibbs) had so many wives.

I can't think of another reason.

It is a mistake. Mark has had trouble keeping track of Gibbs' wives. He made a similar error in an interview during the shooting of season 5. Do you find this valuable?

which also means that season 7 will be more stable concerning Gibbs's past. Do you find this valuable?

I'm not so sure, cause I wastched the interview too, and then season 6, and he might be refering to that columbian woman, rose, cause there was definitly something implied there, and he also said to callen in legend 1, that he had 4 wives, and not 3 as he tells everyone else, so assuming that he isn't mentioning shannon, because he usally doesn't he could be refering to this mysterious 5th wife. and he has kept this woman hidden from the rest of the team, so he probably won't have mentioned it to people who don't already know, and we could assume that callen knew him there, or he figured that his secret was out now. this would explain why he said three wives. cause it didn't seem like a slip of the tounge in the interview, it was a deliberate comment, but then again I could be completly wrong, this is just speculation Do you find this valuable?

Easy now.
Gibbs in the past has always referred to 3 ex wife's. Many people thought that 3 was the total of wife's. I think the fact that he now says 4 wifes shows that he is slowly coming to terms with what happened to Shannon.
Mark has stated that it was hard for him to keep up with Gibbs number of wife's since he personally only has one (Pam). He and Rose was never married she was only a friend. They helped each other during a bad time.

I believe he "might" have been referring to Jenny, as he looked on her as a wife. which she would have been if she hadn't had her "five-star plan", which didn't include marriage. 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Yeah, especially after Jenny wrote him that 'Dear John' letter!

I agree with the earlier posts that Mark made a misstatement in that group interview -or- he did it deliberately in order to play a practical joke on us. If it's the latter, good one!
