I have actually liked all his scripts, the only awkward script was one he never wrote, where they were having dreams of Kate, and Sasha Alexander dressed up in a bunch of different outfits Season 3 EP 1, that one was really weird. It is hard for me to pick out one episode, the last 2 seasons have been the shows strongest in my opinion, and they have covered a wide range of topics. I thought Heartland Season 6 EP 4, where Gibbs goes back home and meets his father, that was well concieved. In particular episodes 24+25 Semper Fidelis and Aliyah were extremely strong, and two of my favs, and I am so exited to see what Brennan will pull out of his hat for the new season.

Kill Ari Part 1 was written by Donald Bellasario and Don McGill. I thought the fantasy sequences were more than a little weird. And I had real problems with the one with Gibbs, with his imagining Kate telling him to commit suicide!

Heartland was one of Jesse Stern's. I did a blog on his scripts last week.

okay, I really don't keep track of them, I know he is writing the lion's share of them, but he did write the last 2 episodes of season 6 right? Semper Fidelis and Aliyah? Because those are two of my favs, and I hated to see the season end, I was wanting more. Do you find this valuable?

Jesse wrote Semper Fidelis. Aliyah was written by Dennis Smith. I find the writers as interesting as the actors.

They certainly are as important as the actors. Without good scripts, even the best actors are left floundering.

If you ever get a chance to see an English movie called "Krull" do so. It shows great actors trying to make something out of an excrutiatingly bad script. It's one of my favorite movies. So bad that it is fantastic. lol.

Now that I think about it, the whole Jimmy Palmer and Agent Lee thing was silly, It really wasn't believable, it seemed like they were trying too hard to establish new characters, it seemed really forced and not natural. Their on-screen chemistry was really bad, maybe with two different actors it could of worked better. I know what you mean about bad scripts, I saw this movie War, Inc. and the script was brutal, but John Cusack who is such a great underrated actor, made the film watchable. I never have seen Krull, but next time I see it on, I will check it out.

Of all the cop shows on TV, NCIS has by far the best plots. Always current, and fairly believable. The casting is awesome. A Jar-head boss, arrogant but street smart Tony, geek McGee, a hot Israeli gal who can kill you 21 ways with her bare hands and not leave a mark,
a goth cool forensic expert who sleeps in a coffin, a long winded old Brit ME, and a smart black boss. Oh yeah, CSI officers of city PD's are not generally allowed to carry firearms.
Leave those shows to the people who can't understand NCIS.

Actually it depends on the police force. Some police forces the CSI's are sworn police officers.

In smaller cities, they might wear two hats, but in bigger cities, they don't come in until the shooting's are over. Sworn officers yes, guns no. In NCIS they are feds so they are required to be armed. Do you find this valuable?
