"It took a lot for Tony to say what he had to say to Jeanne in "Internal Affairs" despite the fact he was badly heartbroken. It took guts on his part. He wasn't mad because Jeanne accused him of murdering her father, he was mad because she wound up getting hurt by him and by the death of her father."

"I personally loved the episode Requiem...seeing a bit more of Gibbs' background/past in his daughter's best friend, and seeing a small glimpse of the softer, more vulnerable Gibbs, as he tries to save her and remembers Kelly.
I love any episode that has Gibbs' past in it! I like Gibbs' personality as he usually is, and I wouldn't want a change overall, but it is always nice to have an episode here and there where he's more vulnerable!"

"I'm watching S5 again now and wanted to point out that editing-wise "Internal Affairs" has to be one of the best edited episodes yet. That section that ends the 3rd act, with Tony finding out he's the suspect, is really tight. All that cutting between interrogation, Gibbs & Jeanne, and Gibbs' basement is very well done. That type of editing has been one of the hallmarks of NCIS. That's a great example."
