Scottie on Bones

Anyone else catch Scottie Thompson on Bones tonight? She played the wife of a wine maker. Scared me when she popped up for the first time! My first reaction was "No, Jeanne Benoit is back!!!" I forgot what I was watching, haha. Nice to see her in another role though. Love catching NCIS folks elsewhere. Do you find this valuable?

Yeah, I saw her too and she kind of creeped me out. I guess I did'nt realize how much I disliked her manipulative, whiny character, especially after she accused Tony of murder! 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

There was a Scottie Thompson in the new Star Trek movie too in a very small role...I was not paying close enough attention at the time to see if it was THE Scottie Thompson that we all know best as Jeanne. Do you find this valuable?

I am definitely going to see the new Trek movie, so I will watch for her. I've been a Star Trek fan for years. I never could get my fingers to do that Spock thing. They just won't cooperate.

The new Trek movie is awesome. I am an original Trekker and it just worked for me!!

so, keeping up with the offsubject pace, what's the difference between a trekker and a trekkie??? Do you find this valuable?

Long story will try to make it short.

We were originally called Trekkies - that's what Gene Roddenberry called us. And it was fine. Then in the late 70s early 80s Trekkie somehow came to represent the ultimate in nerdiness and some fans started called themselves Trekkers instead. It actually divided fandom for a long time. Now I think it's kind of moot - either is acceptable. More than acceptable really as being a major fan like the original Trekkies who kept their show on the air an extra year through their sheer determination has become part of pop culture mythos...witness the CSI episode a couple of weeks ago where Hodges and Wendy were fans of a Star Trek-like show and were attending a convention in Las Vegas. Or even the movie Galaxy Quest. Or the movie Trekkie.
I will shut up now.

I saw Scottie on Bones as well, it sort of confused me at first because she was out of character. Check IMDB and see how many characters on NCIS have played another character on one of the CSI shows.

Bahahahaha, I kind of want Jeanne to come back just to throw a wrench in things for Tony. Michael Weatherly, despite what he may say about his talents, is fantastic at drama. Those are some of my favorite scenes.

I love seeing other people in different shows..I had forgotten that Mark Harmon was in Freaky Friday, and then was flipping through channels. I caught him in Gibbs attire...on Disney Channel..and got really confused. He is the only reason I watch Freaky Friday anymore. :p As for Sean Murray...Hocus Pocus. Enough said. The girl who plays Lee was in another police show a litle while ago, possibly Law and Order Criminal Intent. And you can't forget David Macallum in The Man from Uncle! :)
