I'd love to see a scene where Abby has OD'd on Red Bulls and Caf-Pow, and is running around like a wind up toy with a tight mainspring.

Hmmm, the closest real drink on the marked that comes closest to what Caf-Pow looks like is a slushie made from Mountain Dew Code Red. All of the great taste and exhilaration of Mountain Dew, with a kick of cherry. With 36 mg of CAFFEINE per every 8 fl oz.. with the size of Abby's cup that would be one drink with a heck of a power boost, just a thought.0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

"The other eppy that seems to point, at least to me, at my Mountain Dew Theory, is the eppy when McGee over bleaches his teeth, and tries to drink them back to a "non-beacon of light" tone, when he is told maybe he should shift to an other flavor. I don't know about the stores where you and others live, but around here Mountain Dew can be found in many many different flavors but the basic caffeine base never changes. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Haven't you thought about a fruit punch slushie or hawaiian punch with a can of red bull mixed? You have your red color and consistency PLUS the caffeine shot.

I think Caf Pow could be any number of things but I think its probably something like an Icee and red bull mixed together so ya I really LOVE NCIS!

Caff Pow is a fictional drink but in the show it's portrayed as an iced coffee drink of sorts with extra caffeine added. It is not specified whether the extra caffeine is added naturally through espresso or through an artificial industrial process. Also, when Abby briefly gives up caffeine, Gibbs visits with his coffee and she is distracted by the smell of his non-decaf coffee. She specifically refers to hers as "decaf." Original Caf-Pow! -4oz. Esspresso (2 shots) -1 tray of ice -5 table spoons of coffee flavor syrup (or sweetener of choice) -3oz Seltzer (optional) -1/4 cup sprite/ 7 up (Optional, if replacing seltzer 1/3 cup) -1/2 Tablespoon lemon juice(optional) 1) Lightly crush ice in blender 2) Add esspresso, and sweetener 3) Slowly stir in optional ingredients as desired To get a real Caf-Pow, go to www.mystarbucksidea.com and search caf-pow! I equate Caf-Pow to a drink here called Mother (so much so a guy at work and myself call it Caf-Pow) which is kind of an oversized Red Bull. It is sold in 375ml and 600ml cans. But yeah, Always thought of it something like that or Jolt. As for the colour... well anyone remember Clear Tab? (now I am showing my age...) They could add any colour they want, really, it is just formula. Also it seems to liquidy to be a slurpy. JMOAlso, sidenote, hasn't the actual drink inside those cups changed? I read somewhere that Pauley stopped having drinks with sugar in it, so they had to change the Caf-Pow drinks 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I am about to make my own low carb/low calorie Caf Pow. I am using Lo-carb monster energy drink, suger free tropical punch and diet code red mountain dew. When decideing what to use i considered what the drink looks like...red...and the fact that is is loaded with caffiene.

I read somewhere that the stuff Pauley drinks on the show is now cranberry juice, although that has sugar in it too. Saw an older article that said it was Hawaiian Punch, very very very sweet. LOL, I remember clear Tab! I drink an energy drink called LiftOff, don't need anything else!

If you go to http://cbs.seenon.com/ they have both caf pow cups and six-packs of caf-pow for sale. Yes my NCIS crazed friends. It is real. But she doesnt drink the real thing in the show because she likes Hawaiian Punch better.
