Jethro, the dog
First of all, why didn't Jethro bark at Tim at the end? Was it just dog intuition that Tim had helped solve the case, or what?
And did Abby convinced Tim to take Jethro back to his apartment?

Slightly disappointed...
Well, I thought the whole story line with the dog was slightly pointless and it was hard to keep track of the actual murder... But even worse, the episode "spoiler" said that Gibbs would learn more about the blood tests for the Director, but Hello? he didn't learn anything at all, beside that she "claims," that it had nothing to do with her health. I was upset about that. Fortunately, next weeks ep. looks very interesting... but i really hope the director gets cleared... so I like the Director's character... FYI...

What did you think of "Dog Tags"?
Wow, what a great episode. What was up with Gibbs? Not to knock him but, he was quite personable tonight. Watching Jenny and asking her about her medical condition; asking McGee how he was and trying to help Abby with the dog. There was a definitely a softness to Gibbs tonight as well as Jenny. I think based upon Jenny's cryptic conversation with Abby, there is something wrong with her. And the previews for next week...whoa! Should be interesting watching Fornell get to interrogate Gibbs for a change!
I think the coolest moment was watching Abby pull up to the gate in her "ZZ Top" car and whipping out her NCIS badge! If you don't know who ZZ Top is, I'm old. ;) It was a scene well worth watching!

can't we all see that everyone hates lauren holly's character?!
OK...Who haa ever liked Lauren Holly's character, "The Director," since she came into the show? Certtainly, no one will miss her when she's gone, and the last few NEW episodes (as few and far between as they've been - which certainly doesn't diminish the greatness of the show, in comparison to it's counterparts who have been equally hobbled by the writers' strike - but which couldn't hold a candle to NCIS even long before the strike) - do make it very clear that she is on her way out. Sorry, but I can't mourn her departure. Yes, NCIS needs a director who may or may not be sympathetic to those who are committed heart and soul to Gibbs' team, but do we really want another season with a Director whom we all despise as much as we all despise "Jenny?"
