ziva
I'm in love with NCIS because of Ziva (Cote de Pablo), she is an amazing actor and she is cold but loving at the same time. Without ziva within NCIS i would not still be watching it today.

Ziva is the more Gibbslike character of the show.
For the first time, an Israeli hero was brought in a show like NCIS and, though she is a killer and a spy, she is the character who ressembles Gibbs he most out of all the NCIS characters. Yet she is also unique as, as much as she ressembles Gibbs, she isn't as much like him as it seems. While Gibbs has had the fortune of having a loving father despite their strained relationshîp, Ziva has been raised by a power-hungry, manipulative father who sees her mearly as a tool to serve his own ends. Despite this, she was unable to bring herself to admit it to herself...until she met Gibbs, who took over the role of a father in her life. I was so glad when she turned her back on Mossad and most particularly on her father, the man who forced her to kill her own brother! I would love it if it was Ziva who pulled the trigger on the gun that will kill Eli David.

Could please someone explain the english word slothing?
In the Zivaism 6.10 Ziva is using the term 'slothing'. I can't find a description for this word. Could someone please tell me the meaning?
The other word 'sleuthing' is obvious to me: 'detective work, following a track' (There is another word 'sleuthhound'. The first part of the term sleuthhound means "track, path, trail" and the second part the dog used for tracking or pursuing.)

Actresses and Ziva
Does anyone know any actresses that look anything like Ziva in the 5th season (specifically 'Judgement Day' where her hair was down and straight) 6th or even now, in the 7th season? I'm doing this for a project in which I need really good (or good) look alikes. Can anyone help!? I don't know many actresses! Thanks!
P.S. The actresses can come from any country

I HATE ZIVA BECAUSE...
You finish the sentence.
This sort of grew out of a conversation I was having with a friend. I'm a Ziva fan, despite the recent "speed bumps" on the show, if you will. She started talking about why she hated Ziva, and how she was an very unrealistic Mary Sue character (much more so than Abby, who you know is deiberatey exaggerated for TV) ruining the integrity and dynamic of the show, and Tiva was a contrived relationship that was gonna be the last nail in the coffin for NCIS.
She's not entiely alone in thinking that either, I'd imagine.
So, of course, I'm taking it to the boards. I'm curious as to why people may not enjoy Ziva's character, or find her damaging to the team dynamic. Yeah, i can think of a few moments in late S6 I wasn't realy feeling it, but in S7, that's being cleaned up.
I don't meant this at all to be a bashing thread for either Ziva or Cote, SO PLEASE DON'T TURN IT INTO ONE. I just want to read why people are off the Ziva bandwagon when I always thought she was a wildy popuar character (ahem, that may just be my fan-ness talking). I'm looking forward to the comments. =)

The Basics of Hebrew
Most of us have heard Ziva speak in Hebrew. An incredibly fast sounding language, with lots of achs and iks. Luckily, it's not as hard as it sounds. Once you learn the aleph bet (alphabet) and nikud (vowel pointings,) learning it will be a breeze!

What is your favorite Ziva-ism?
So we've had 3 seasons of Ziva-isms (and I'm looking forward to more!) What was your favorite?
Mine is without a doubt: You're goose is fried! (From season 5 when they were on the stakeout)
It just makes me laugh every time I hear it. There are so many others I like, but that is my favorite.
