Savoring the waiting
NCIS is the best show I've seen in many years and I'm an avid fan. I've been waiting with baited breath for tonight's show to be on and I just showered,cleaned my house,got food prepared in anticipation. My belief is that tonight's show will be many levelled with lots of in depth stuff on the characters and how all of these people of diverse backgrounds , upbringings and social values work so well together as a team,as one entity,they have compassion for each other and respect and genuinely love each other as fellow human beings and family members. That's my take. Looking forward to it and having fun waiting. Also getting to know some really great people in the various NCIS chat rooms,sites and whatever else they're called....really nice and very smart and fun.

about the episode
This episode was awesome . Although i thought last years season finale was better with the whole thing with Ziva and Tony. I LOVE NCIS !!! they left the finale at a very good point with his father and Paloma Reynosa. It wast a bad ending and it wasn't an ending that would drive you crazy until they put on the next season.

What Put Gibbs and Vance on the Same Page
The scene in the park when we learn that Gibbs was wired and Vance was listening, clearly indicating that Gibbs had told Vance (off scene) about Alejandro's involvement with the Carel. Great closing scene. Does the sister(forget spelling of her name) kill Gibbs''s father? Or does he survive? Should make a great opener for next season.

Jackson Gibbs
Okay this is really really mean of them to send Paloma after Jackson. Sorry but if the guy playing Jackson is still on Days of our lives then he's more likely going to be shot dead. NBC doesn't share it's actor's with other stations so it surprised me that they let him there. Long story but does anyone know if he's still there and who he played?
If they are sharing or he's no longer with Days then I'm not worried. Jackson was warned by Gibbs meaning someone could be there to watch his back because he seemed to be waiting for Paloma or .... he could just shoot her himself. I hopethey don't kill off Jackson they should've gotten rid of Franks instead lol.
What the heck decision did Gibbs come to? What the heck did A. Hart want him to do? I heard something before the season started about another marriage but they better not marry or I'll be mad mad mad.

this finale is sooo rich!
deep connection of gibbs and vance; abby's role in gibb's life as a real family; member's of dysfunctional family truly caring for each other; humility in recognizing one's limitation! yes i've seen it twice now but i am watching it again. vance and gibbs connection need not be flaunted ... there work style is very effective .... through this work style they were able to earn trust and respect from the other member's of the team that consider each one as his / her own family and this has been proven many times...the new rule #51 though is soooo humbling after all those rules, we can now be humble like gibbs and recognize that we are humans therefore can make mistakes.

You left out the conversation that Ducky had with the caddy. The caddy told him to use a 5 iron and he would be on in two. Ducky grabbed a 3 wood and over drove the green by 15 yards and got a double bogie. (Bogie? Bogart?) (I don't know about you, but only missing by 15 yards when you are 218 yards out is not too bad.)

Gibbs and Vance? A Friendship?
okay, I know it sounds weird, but does anyone think that maybe Gibbs and Vance will become friends in the next season? Vance seems to be putting a lot of trust in Gibbs at the moment.
Anyway, that's what I think.

Season Seven Ending
I was really confused be the ending, mostly Gibbs' imaginary conversation with Franks. What did Franks mean by "You really want to be a cop." Is Gibbs quitting NCIS? And what exactly was he wrong about (Rule Fifty-One)? And Gibbs' dad better not die...
