Sorgiña: An entertaining film with a bit of everything for everybody, although Séan Connery was pretty chronic in this film. A pleasant way to spend an evening or rainy afternoon in.

SilverStar48: My very favourite image in this film, is Mark Harmon peering through the screen door at Meg Ryan. She asks him if he wants to wait on the porch for her father (Sean Connery) and Mark answers, "NO, I want to come in". That face and those gorgeous eyes in that shot just took my breath away. (Can't BELIEVE she asked him if he wanted to wait outside!)

CatherineYetive--I don't know if there are several versions of this film, but I saw the one with the rather racy scene between MH and Meg Ryan! I did enjoy the movie though. I was just take by surprise with that particular scene! =]]

I looked at the list of Mark Harmon movies, TV series, leading ladies, and co-stars. He's another Kevin Bacon in the making. The old game was to name a movie or TV star and see how many links it took to get from Kevin Bacon to them. I mean, in this movie, Mark is with Meg Ryan and Sean Connery. In Sweet Bird of Youth, he plays opposite Elizabeth Taylor. On NCIS, besides the regular cast, older generation guest stars have been Charles Durning, Mariette Hartley, Armand Asante, Hal Holbrook, etc. And all the young actors he's been with, starting with Weather Girl! Anybody interested?
