It was an amazing episode. Just the way the whole things was set up for Alejandro and his sister. I was just so glad that Gibb's dad was ok. Always good to see Mike Franks. I loved the end when Leon buried the file that Abby put together for Alejandro. The whol team pulled together and make a fantastic season opener.

I agree with you, Margy. I do think that the role of Ducky's assistant was in a "trial phase" for awhile, but before Season 1 was finished, it seemed clear to fans and producers/writers that there needed to be better chemistry between said "assistant" and Ducky. As I remember it, there was almost overwhelming early-on fan favor for Ducky's endless tales and trivia tid-bit's...which turned into one of the things most loved about Ducky. Once it was established that Gerald wasn't interested in Ducky's bantor, Palmer was brought in, and he and Ducky played very well off each other....and continue to. Personally, I still love Ducky's tales and trivia tid-bits, and always look forward to them in the episodes.
