abby scuito has a similar resemblance to the android girl ayako, of galaxy fraulein yuna returns, dawn of the dark sisters. one difference is that ayako has blue green hair and purple eyes and wears a chinese dress. her hairstyle is also different.

Please forgive me if you've all already discussed this to death, but...
does anyone happen to know if the episodes are written to mirror a certain film or if a movie springs to mind because of the plot line?
Sort of a chicken/egg situation about which I've always wondered. There are lots of times I'm already thinking of the film that eventually gets mentioned. My favorite was when they brought in "The Princess Bride" by referencing the Dread Pirate Roberts. It made me lol!
I'd love to hear your favorite movie tags, too, as this is one of my favorite aspects of the show. :)

This is a great thread. It seems like the original idea was to organize it by episode. But it is already difficult to locate a particular movie and Tony is only going to keep them coming. I think it would be easier if the movie titles were in alaphabetical order. Then you could easily see if the refernece is already up or not. Seems like a big job though, I imagine the thread would have to be locked.

I have a question for you. Why was the reference to Cujo so off. Tony said everyone contracted rabies and died. It was obvious to me the writers did not read the book or see the movie. Only the dog contracted rabies, most of the movie was done in the car. Was there a reason for getting this so wrong? How about Blade Runner? Just a few thoughts. Dalgal37
