You're welcome! A few years back I was a Deputy and worked a lot of forensics during my tenure. I'm also pretty well up on firearms and shooting having built a few rifles. That bullet that Ducky pulled out of Pedro Hernandes is not from a .338 Lapua Magnum. One, they had just come out with a few rifles in that year this was supposed to have happened, and, the bullet part of the .338 Lapua is a rather long torpedo shape and more than likely would have penetrated clear though the skull exploding the head (as in no head left) and went through the door on the other side and end up in the dirt on the opposite side of the pickup. They are useful for shooting large dangerous animals because of the terminal effectivness and for sniper useage. However, it wasn't until several years after Pedro was shot that they would have started using this rifle for such purpose.

Looked more like a pistol bullet than a rifle bullet, but props and set experts are not always handy at gettig things quite right. Now, the question bears asking... was it "really" a pistol bullet?
