Character Backstory:
Season 7:
- First appearing in "Ignition", she appears as the attorney to Victor Tillman. She then becomes the legal council to Vanessa Tillman, and despite claiming it isn't a conflict of interest, it is revealed that Hart only went after these clients because they would meet with Special Agent Gibbs. Gibbs later realises she has affiliations with Col. Bell who was sent to Mexican prison earlier in the season by Gibbs.
- In "Masquerade", she appears as the council to brothers Alfonso and Roman Vega. For his own protection Alfonso Vega is left at NCIS, and Hart insists on staying while her client is still there. Hart wanders around NCIS for a while but is eventually trumped by Gibbs when he releases Vega to find his brother and then tells his brother to sign a attorney-waiver. Afterwards, Hart enters Gibbs' home to confront him about using her client as bait, in which Gibbs replies that Hart only does cases that could land her in front of him. It is implied that they then kiss.
- In "Mother's Day", Gibbs asks her to represent his mother-in-law when she becomes a suspect to their investigation. Gibbs plan to use Hart as to get his mother-and-law off the crime she committed. By committing an illegitamate arrest, Hart forces Gibbs to release his mother in law.
- She next appears in "Obsession" where she is given temporary employee status in the NCIS building while she helps Alejandro Rivera as his and the task force's legal council. She also knew a missing reporter and tells Gibbs this in his basement.
- In "Patriot Down",
- In "Rule Fifty-One", she has a conversation with Ducky telling him that she believed Col. Bell (who is now dead) to be a good man. She is the one who stopped the report by Abby outlining Gibbs as the murderer of Pedro Hernandez from going to the task force. In a conversation with Gibbs she questions why he became a cop and admitting to him that she wanted to know who he was as a person.
