SilverStar48: This is a fast paced film with a pretty accurate representation of history. The period costumes, cars and general look of the era add to the realism and action. (I must say that the tenor saxophone {I think that's what it is} that is used so much as the background music gets on my nerves fairly early on.) John Dillinger (Mark Harmon) becomes America's most wanted in a fairly short span of time. The FBI becomes absolutely obsessed about catching him, especially J. Edgar Hoover, head of the FBI. The bedroom scenes with his lover, played by Sherilyn Fenn (NCIS episode "Left For Dead" as the bomb making chemist with amnesia), are pretty steamy! The bank robbery action shows Mark's athletic abilities and are almost acrobatic. There are lots of great close ups of Mark Harmon ... robbing banks or making love ... can we all say HOT! However, the way the film ends is harsh. Make sure you read the factual information at the end of the film.
