| 2.22 "SWAK" | Michael as Tony was very convincing as he got sicker and then was near death. Makeup helped, to be sure, but it was very well acted too. The part that really got to me was when Kate was crying that Tony was dying as Ducky attempts to console and comfort her. That scene, followed by the next one with Gibbs *ordering* Tony not to die, gets me every time. | jml709 |
| 3.22 and 3.23 "Hiatus" (Parts 1 and 2) | These two episodes really got to me, but especially these two scenes: Mark was brilliant as Gibbs in the hospital, especially when he had to be sedated because he was in so much emotional agony reliving the loss of Shannon and Kelly and crying out that he just wanted his family. When Gibbs was leaving the squadroom to 'retire' to Mexico, he only had a few words for each of his teammates, but their reactions to his leaving them were very powerful. Waterworks! | jml709 |
| 6.9 "Dagger" | No surprise here. Michelle Lee dying. I just found her totally adorable, so watching her fall from grace and then selflessly giving her life to stop the bad guy just wiped me out. I know that when Kate shot her "Suicide by cop" Gibbs told her to put it behind her, but I'd like to think that pulling the trigger on Lee still haunts him a little. | Bagpuss2 |
| Requiem | When Tony can't revive Gibbs. Gibbs sees Kelly, holds out his hand to her but she smiles and tells him it's OK, she loves him but he must go back. | Megansian46 |

| Twilight and Kill Ari parts 1&2 | I loved Kate, she was my favorite and to see her being shot, was really hard. I cried SO much after seeing those, but I like Ziva. Ziva really showed dedication by having to shoot Ari, her half brother. That really got to me. I'm sorry, but Gibbs was such a butt hole to her when she first started. With his gut instinct, you'd think that he'd understand what Ziva had to do to prove herself. This is one of the reasons why I love Ziva. | mrs.timothymcgee |

| Judgement Day Part 1 & 2 | There were so many sad scenes in these episodes!! especially when Tony & Ziva find Jenny dead and then Gibbs calls her. Also when Abby & McGee are in the lab and she drops the Cd's & starts crying, and McGee is trying to comfort her. another part that got me in Judgment Day was when the whole team is in the lab and Abby gives them all a hug and then of course at the end when they all get back from the funeral and Vance splits up the team. | tivajibbsmcabbyluvv |

I also felt so bad for Gibbs having to endure everyone telling him how 'sorry' they were. On a lighter note, can I ask about the cast photo above? They all look great in it, but the staging in and of itself is very funny to me. Perhaps I am just not artistic enough? | jml709 |
| Aliyah | OK this ep. just had me fighting tears the whole way, until that plane took off when I burst out crying. I absolutely love Ziva, and although I have convinced myself of other possible solutions, I still get so sad to see that montage at the end, and Gibbs just leaving her there! Although a really close second would have to be "Cloak" (I loved Michelle Lee) and "Judgement Day" (Need I say more?) | esmerellda |
| Designated Target | I just found this episode so beautiful. I mean we start off with the whole fact about the woman searching for her husband cause she believes "we are soulmates, Thomas and I" which then got Ziva onto thinking about her soulmate, and when she asks Tony "if he believes in soulmates" and he comes out with the answer "they were on Decker right? Sing a few bars, al get it" and Ziva says "you'll never get it" and then at the end when the woman realises her husband has remarried and Ziva is like in shellshock and the look Tony gives her is like saying "I do now". | Judgement Day [Pt 1 & 2] | When Jenny and Franks are talking about her and Gibbs' mission in Paris and how Gibbs to Franks about it when he was in Mexico and then when Tony and Ziva found Jenny and then Abby breaking down in the Lab and McGee trying to comfort her and then the look on Gibbs' face when Vance says "meet your new team". | TivaIsTheBest |

| Recoil | I wouldn't say this was a 'tearjerker" but it was one of the episodes that really actually got you to feel for the characters as real people. Mostly, I was angry at Tony and my heart went out to Ziva. It's quite a feat to pull off, actually making people relate to your characters on that level. | Cassierules |
| Kill Ari Part 1 and 2 | oh my God, as soon as that episode started i was in tears, and from then on in i was totally beside myself. i loved and still do love Kate and Tate. that episode just ripped my heart apart. i have never been the same after seeing that episode and never will be. Twilight was still sad as all hell, but i didn't cry much when that ended, i was too shell shocked. i did scream, and then after a while i broke down in tears and was totally uncontrollable. i still can't watch the Kill Ari's to this day! | NCISchick |

| 2.07 Call of Silence | The last scene with Gibbs recreating the war scene for Earnie Yost with the smell of Sulphur to help him remember what happened. And the rest of the team watching and everyone realizing that Yost ended up killing his best friend to save the rest of the Platoon. The realization brought tears everyone – Col. | Good Cop, Bad Cop | At the end where Gibbs & Ziva are in the interrogation room and she says to Gibbs that she's sorry. Then Gibbs whispers the "Saying you're sorry is a sign of weakness" rule into her ear she smiles & then tears up. The kiss on the head made me bawl like a baby who just got their blanket taken away!! Then when Gibbs called Ziva "Probie"... I could barely handle to finish the episode because it was so sweet!! "Daddy" Gibbs is back & so is Ziva!!♥ | MelindaCBS |
