- In "Hung Out to Dry", Tony reveals that his father gave him a power sander for a recent birthday.
- In "The Immortals", Tony reveals his parents pushed him into sports in high school.
- In "Missing", Tony says that his father was right in that he was going to end up in the gutter.

- In "Chained", Tony said his father was too drunk to hurt anybody. Though as he was undercover, this may not necessarily be true.

- In "Silver War", Tony reveals a great dislike towards the American Civil War. McGee claims that it was because of his father, though Tony disagrees with Ziva's assumption that he didn't get along with his father. He later revealed he carried a bucket around so that renactors "could take a dump". They called Tony "that little poo boy". He sarcastically said that "he has been asking his father" why people reenact the Civil War since he was ten years old.
- In "Honor Code", Tony says his father left him in the Maui Hilton for two days. His father didn't even know he had left him there until he got the bill.
- In "Frame-Up", Tony when interviewing himself, states that he has deep-seated psychological problems and commitment issues in which Tony replies that his "intimacy issues stem from my mother who dressed me as a sailor until I was ten years old?"
- In "Boxed In", Tony reveals his mother made him play piano.
- In "Head Case", Tony reveals his father works in Nevis (an island in the Caribbean). He implies that his father likes because it is a haven of confidentiality, of not disclosing the names of owners, officers, or directors.
