• Vance and Dr. Ryan go back to their days at the war college.
  
  
• There's a bit of rivalry between Rachel and Samantha (Dr. Ryan). The rivalry is to the point where Rachel tells Gibbs not to trust the PsyOps people and especially not Samantha after Samantha left them in the conference room. They both slept with Dr. Banks, the victim, too (according to Samantha). Rachel doesn't confirm or deny what Samantha said about them sleeping with Dr. Banks. Instead she points out that Samantha was playing one of her mind games with the whole thing of her and Rachel both sleeping with Dr. Banks. Clearly Rachel is very protective of Gibbs like Kate was.
  
  
• Samantha asks Gibbs out on a breakfast date at 4am.

• A new rule is given to us by Gibbs, rule #42: "Don't accept an apology from someone who just sucker punched you.
  
  
• Rachel and Samantha also go back to their college days like Samantha and Vance do. "She went clinical, I went military. Very different points of view...." - Dr. Samantha Ryan.

• Rachel looks at Gibbs in the same way that her sister did, "the cat who ate the canary" as Gibbs put it before he found out that Samantha had bugged his basement.
