• Tony bent over while Agent Borin dabs at a spot on the back of his pants -- as Director Vance appears.
• Gibbs has already dated the 'perfect woman' that the team found for him. Tony: "So, what was wrong with her, boss?" "Nothing. She's perfect." Borin: "Perfect?" Gibbs replies, "Ain't nothin' more boring than perfect!"
• Abby telling Gibbs the many hanging air freshners is the Disenchanted Forest.
  
• McGee telling Tony he smells like a hot cheerleader from his old high school days.

• Ziva seems to be embracing her change in citizenship: she encourages (and assists) a Muslim women to take refuge on American soil. She also reflects back about her family: "My - mother - never told me what kind of a man my - father - was. Perhaps she thought I was not strong enough to handle it."
  
• Gibbs vocalizes his father-daughter relationship with Ziva: "You're never lonely when you have kids. (gently kisses her forehead) Night, kid." Ziva's wry smile shows that she agrees.
  
• Agent Borin explicitly assists with finding a date for Gibbs, offering her (thick) "little black book" of friends and reviewing candidates on the plasma. Later, she broaches the subject of companionship with Gibbs, but is gently rebuffed: "Your team thinks you're lonely. So, you lonely, Gibbs?" "Nope."
  
• Vance suggests that Secretary Jarvis may be in over his head, and offers his help. Although Jarvis declined any assistance, his expression was one of uncertainty and he didn't have the smug self-confidence shown in the first episode of the season.
  
• Gibbs indulgently dismisses the team's effort to find a date for him. In previous seasons, one would have expected such an effort to irritate him. He's simply amused by it in this episode, and waves it away while laughing: "Go home. Keep your phones on."
