(3) as for the plot (which is the least important thing in NCIS episodes), these things were really farfetched and lucky:
¶ How many --if any-- police agencies would bother to "bag" the turkey from the refrigerator and do an autopsy on it? Why bother? If they made a big deal over things like that, our public debt would be $ trillions over what it is now.
¶ How likely would an autopsy-forensics team know about different turkey feather shades (brown v. tan-yellow) for different parts of the country, and if they did, would they care? Here they figure out (how unlikely they would do that, even with DNA!) that the turkey was imported from another state to a nearby park. So what? What is the chance that the missing witness would be in the park, if he ever was at that park. The damn turkey could have been handed down from person to person. Would they trace the provenance of every object in the apartment?
¶ I might have missed this big time, but Abby noticed two flaws in the camera that made the "Play Me" video. Could she really find a collection of videos on the internet to go through to find the same flaws and the videographer's hands being shown , thus knowing who made the videos?
¶ So many other things too, like Smitty not disposing of the weapon he used to kill Joe Casey, finding Smitty at the Joe Casey murder site-tatoo parlor, etc.
