• Tim remote controlling the jet-pack : "This is sweet.."
• Tony while Tim is flying the jet-pack: "I wanna fly him!"
• Jetpacks,...yeah, it's going to be a weird one." Gibbs
• McGee shushing Palmer and Abby.
• Gibbs giving McGee a headslap when McGee was going on and on about jet packs.
• Gibbs asking the lawyer if she had been a redhead.
• McGee giving orders to the team and saying what Gibbs should do and then asking about where Gibbs was, and Gibbs answering via the telephone and calling McGee "Elf Lord" again.
• McGee's voice on the jetpack movie, and how he says everything along with it.
• Ziva going "Say cheese!" to the tail and then taking his picture.
• Tony touching the jet-pack controls behind Victor Tillman's back after Tillman had pushed Tony's hand away from them a moment earlier.
• McGee send Tony and Ziva to the jetpacks' factory, but he has to stay at NCIS. Gibbs says to him, "The price of being in charge!"
• When Palmer and Ducky ride up on the ATV; Ducky is driving. Gibbs teases Palmer about taking the long way and he insists he wanted to drive.
• As Tony hands over the bagged and tagged remains of the dead pilots arm to Ducky he says something like "Looks like he pulled a 'scarecrow'." (Wizard of Oz reference) Gibbs picks up and follows through on that film reference by referring to the squirrel that Palmer has bagged and tagged as a 'flying monkey'.
• Ziva uses a contraction!

• Gibbs is obviously intrigued by the woman lawyer that is "watching" him.
• McGee putting his expertise on rockets to solve the case and figures out that the dead pilots jetpack was his own design made from parts he ripped off from the both the Tillman's aviation companies and also borrowed the Navy.
• Palmer got his chance to perform his first autopsy on a squirrel and does a good job at it.
• McGee has made a "Thom E Gemcity" production documentary/film about rocket belts.
• Col. Bell shows up again.
• Gibbs saw that the female lawyer is in the photo with Colonel Bell and wonders why.
• McGee and Palmer are no longer probies. To Ducky they are "spreading their wings."
• In his youth, Palmer spent some time near Lyon, France, in a French Immersion program.

• Rena Sofer appeared in "24," "Blind Justice" and "General Hospital."

• 7.12 Flesh and Blood Anthony DiNozzo Sr. gets involved with a case concerning an assassination plot against a prince. The elder DiNozzo's link will cause Gibbs to doubt whether Tony can remain impartial in the investigation.
