• Everyone trying to see Abby hurts their face when they find the door to her lab locked. McGee first, then Tony and finally Palmer.
  
  
• When a soldier asks Tony how much clearance he has, Tony comes back with "About 6 foot 1 and a half."
  
  
• Tony asking the soldier what they are hiding in the facility," What do you have in there aliens, big foot, ark of the covenant?" Soldier does not answer. Tony, Ziva and McGee look at each other, Tony says, "That only leaves one thing. Tony, Ziva and McGee answer in unison: "A unicorn".
  
  
• When McGee says to the Marine Guard "I gotta ask you this. Did you order a dead body?"
  
  
• When Gibbs is loitering in autopsy, Ducky asks him what he is doing. Putting on his watch Gibbs replies "Killing time", to which Ducky responds, "Would you like me to perform an autopsy on your watch?"
  
  
• McGee tells Palmer, "Sorry your girlfriend turned out to be a Cylon."
  
  
• Tony citing, War Games and talking like the computer, "shall we play a game?", then wanting pizza!

• Vance is getting closer to Gibbs.
  
  
• Vance is prepared to be explicit with Gibbs about the boundaries of who issues orders to whom: and Vance ain't taking orders. He is the boss. (the boss of "Boss")
  
  
• The Secretary for the Navy stated that Vance's job was to clean up the mess from the previous Director. Jenny clearly did NOT cover herself with glory by dying for the cause.
  
  
• Tony becoming more confident and standing up to Gibbs about feeling used.
  
  
• Tony resenting not being told secrets is a perfect role reversal of when he refused to disclose the Jeanne secret to Gibbs.
  
  
• There was lots of tension between Tony and Ziva, including one moment in the elevator where Ziva hinted her true feelings for Tony. And Tony, with a one track mind, was not thinking of Ziva but the case.
  
  
• McGee's concern for Abby when she's the ''suspect''
  

• Tony, while stalling to collect intel on building giving everyone code names from the movies Convoy and Smokey and the Bandit. He calls Dr. Mallard, Rubber Ducky, Ziva Widow Woman, Gibbs is Snowman, Jimmy Palmer Love Machine, calls himself the Bandit and then calls McGee, Spider Mike. And the soldier he refers to as Deckard from Blade Runner.
  
  
• At the time the show aired, Battlestar Galactica fans were trying to guess who the final 5 Cylons were. McGee references this when he says to Palmer, "Sorry your girlfriend turned out to be a Cylon."
  
  
• We see the Secretary of the Navy again later in this season.
