• How happy Tony was when he saw McGee in MTAC
• Abby trying to get Gibbs to pass on messages about Sister Rosita's bowling score and how Abby has finally seen Titanic, via MTAC (Abby's priorities in life are the humorous bit.)
• The huge grin on Tony's face when he realizes that Gibbs and Ziva are there in person in Cartagena.
  
• Ziva's photos on Tony's wall.
• The photo of Tony on Abby's wall.
• When Tony kept talking about McGee to cover for the conversation with the team via MTAC, and when McGee said "He's insane" and Gibbs totally agrees.
• Tony's face when Gibbs tells him he is escorting the prisoner home. "HOME?" And then goes running for his gear.

• Tony and Ziva had a few brief moments of insight. Tony realized Ziva left someone behind when she returned to NCIS. We all knew it was her father but Ziva kept quiet and told Tony she didn't want to talk about it. Ziva asked Tony if he had forgiven himself for what happened to Jenny. Tony admitted he didn't drink as much or blame himself as he did after her death. Ziva also noticed Tony had the photos he had taken of her in her bikini (from Judgment Day) posted on his wall.
• Vance likes playing mind games with Gibbs, and seems able to win. Gibbs cannot read Vance like he can read his own team and could read Jenny.
• Abby is still bowling with nuns and Tony is the recipient of Abby's personal news.
• Abby has finally watched Titanic and was distinctly underwhelmed by it and didn't bother to watch the ending .
• McGee truly truly loves being a field agent, but is also proud of his higher-order cyber skills: he is patently a quick learner (4 months is only 16 weeks, which is a short time to hone such skills).
• Ziva seems disconcerted at Tony's interest in her body (she is neither entertained nor amused or embarrassed by the photos: she is not fazed that Gibbs sees them but puzzled by Tony having them but IS irritated at McGee for not getting rid of them.)
• Tony regards the team as family: his description of how McGee felt when exiled to the sub-basement and away from the bosom of the team is clearly a statement of how he has felt bereft without his team. This picks up the theme of the episode "Family" where he chooses the team family over creating a family with Jeanne.
• Ducky worked without Palmer in this episode.
• Gibbs standing back and enjoying his team back together and then giving DiNozzo a "welcome home" handshake with a slight grin at the close of the episode.
• The barman in Colombia implied that Tony had some sort of relationship with a woman named Lorena that sings at the bar.
• Gibbs won't let Vance replace Tony with someone else
• Tony and Ziva's talk about how hard it was for "McGee and Abby" to be apart after working together everyday.
• Vance appears to be testing Gibbs' loyalty to Tony. He sees if Gibbs is willing to choose another agent, but when Gibbs refuses, Vance knows that he to should trust Dinozzo's abilities and reassigns him to DC.

• The movie Tony refers to and finds parallels to in this episode is "Foul Play" with Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn.
• The picture of Tony that Abby had up in her lab was the one she took on her camera phone in "Requiem"
• Depending on days of travel, Tony does get back "home" within the 12 days that Abby had given Gibbs to get the team back together.

• When Tony is in Cartegena talking to the bartender, he mentions the movie Romancing the Stone. That movie is set in Cartegena (Columbia).
