If the Director has ordered Tony deep undercover to form a relationship with Jeanne, why does she seem to not know about it in this episode?

RE: The Mystery of Jenny and Tony

"I think it might be the exchange that Tony and Jenny have in her office when he's asking her about "romantic advice" I think if you watch it after you know that it was an assignment you realize that he's asking her if it's okay to fall in love with his "mark". Since Jenny has obviously crossed the line before I think she thinks it's okay. You never know how things will work out...and it's not like he's sleeping with her to get info or anything...he genuinely likes her- which is why she asks if he is attracted to her and she to him. (I'm not saying I think it's right but what I think Jenny was thinking"" Ok....now I think I understand what YouFlyGirl was asking about. Yes, Tony realized that he was falling in love with Jeanne, and he knew that this was not supposed to happen when he was working undercover re. that whole "Frog" assignment. I think that he was brave to bring it up with Jenny, and I also think that he was kind of hoping that Jenny would remove him from the assignment so he would be free to "love' Jeanne. It was very hard for Tony to have such feelings for Jeanne, and know how it was expected to end. Jenny would have expected for Tony not to allow "love" to enter into it, and upon learning that it had, she was very "gentle" with Tony. Hope this settles the mystery for you, YouFlyGirl *smile*.
