La 3ª temporada se estrenó el martes día 20 de septiembre del 2.005.
  • Season 3 began with fans watching as our beloved Kate was buried.
  • Director Jenny Shepard joined the team. We learned that she and Gibbs had a history together.
  • We were introduced to Mossad Liaison Officer, Ziva David.
  • Gibbs watched Kate's killer, Ari, died at the hands of his half-sister, Ziva. They let everyone believe Gibbs had killed Ari, not Ziva.
  • The shocking season finale had Gibbs injured with some memory loss. As he slowly recovered, Gibbs retired from NCIS and left to join ex-boss, Mike Franks who calls him Probie, in Baja, Mexico by the beach.
