Vanished
Synopsis:
A Marine helicopter is discovered in the middle of a crop circle in a rural area and the pilots are missing. Soon, NCIS discovers that only one of the pilots was on the flight and that there is a decade long feud going on in town, and that the missing pilot is out for revenge.

New Character Development / Insights:
  • Abby is a firm believer in crop circles and alien conspiracy theories.
  • Kate has become comfortable with Tony's familiarity which makes her uncomfortable
  • McGee will apparently do anything to see Abby's tattoos
  • Tony has gotten way too comfortable around Kate.
Funny Moments:
  • McGee using the metal detector and finding an alien mask; on top of a magnet placed there by Tony.
  • To Kate's disgust Tony takes a drink from her water bottle, and then Gibbs does it.
  • Kate finding out how Tony knew who her favourite florist was.
  • Tony annoying the hell out of Kate.
Trivia:
  • Kate gets annoyed at seeing Tony clip his nails at his desk, and is even more annoyed by the fact this no longer bothers her. However, she drew the line when she caught him scratching his crotch, to which Tony made a flippant reply.
  • The "little black helicopter" and the crop circles were a tip of the hat to all the conspiracy theorists out there.
