Synopsis:
Gibbs' determination to track down the terrorist from 'Bete Noire' becomes an obsession that concerns his entire team.

  • Gibbs Rules: Rule #7 - Always be specific when you lie.
  • In this episode, Gibbs has a vision of uncovering Kate's body with a bullet-hole in her forehead - this could be a foreshadow of Kate's death exactly a season later because her character dies in the season two finale "Twilight." However, when writing this episode, Sasha Alexander had no intention of leaving the show, so this was an accidental foreshadow.
  • DiNozzo references several movies: The Alamo, The Fugitive, The Searchers, Payback.
